Every Friday, we send you our Decency Minute scripts and links to hear Bill Johnson, founder and president of American Decency Association, narrate them. In this introductory portion, we usually tie them together with a story or some devotional thought meant to encourage our readers as they step into the weekend.
This week, we want to encourage you in a different way; we would like to point out other aspects of our ministry that you may not be aware of or haven’t recently taken advantage of. God has blessed our ministry with several venues with which we are able to speak into your lives and into a culture which is in desperate need of salt and light. Our aim in all that we do is to glorify God, magnify our Lord and Saviour, urging people to walk in the power of the Holy Spirit. Being a Christian means walking in holiness of heart and life. Here are a few things we do and links to help you check them out.
As I write this, we have just finished editing our free newsletter – Frontline – within it one will find articles to educate, move people to think, and urge all of us to act. It can be read online or a hard copy can be signed up for and it will come to your mailbox. Many have encouraged us with their positive comments; several have requested more than one copy, in order to distribute them to friends, family, and those in their church. We heard from one man who found it in his local library, read it, and wanted to receive it for himself. Our newest venue is our podcast, where Bill interviews ordinary people who live extraordinary lives by the grace of God; it’s called Finally: A Decent Podcast. We believe you won’t want to miss out on these interviews that are full of pertinent information regarding the happenings taking place in our culture or even learning from the lives of humble men and women who can show us the way in which to walk. The topics are varied, the questions are good, and the responses are godly. We encourage you to keep coming back to see what we are posting each week.
Many of you are already familiar with our weekly Decency Minutes and our email alerts which we send out a few times a week. We would still encourage you to come back from time to time and remind yourself of what’s been written or use our search engine to see what we’ve written on a particular topic that you might be dealing with presently.
Does your church use our free monthly bulletin insert? If not, why not read several for yourself and suggest using them to your pastor. They are not politically motivated and simply share the precious Word of God with our readers. Even if your church isn’t interested, you could still come back at the beginning of each month and enjoy a slice of “fresh bread.”

We encourage you to stop by our website from time to time and see what’s new. As Democrats refuse to fund DHS, they’re purposefully inflicting pain on American citizens, because they want to keep illegals from being deported. Democrat Senator Chris Murphy actually said: “the people we care about most: the undocumented Americans…”
Notice he refers to illegals as “Americans.”
Democrat policies are also responsible for the murder of Sheridan Gorman as she walked outside with college friends to look for the northern lights and was shot by an illegal thug in Chicago. Her killer came through Biden’s open border and had previously been arrested, but released by Chicago’s sanctuary city policies.
Another Democrat blamed the victim, stating perhaps Sheridan “startled” the criminal, and claimed Sheridan was just in the wrong place at the wrong time.
No, the illegal was in the wrong place. And if Democrats hadn’t allowed him into our country and protected him from deportation, Sheridan would be alive today.
When Zohran Mamdani was sworn in as New York City’s first Muslim mayor, he did so with his hand on two Qur’ans instead of a Bible. One might say that it’s fitting for a Muslim to use Islam’s holy book, but since the Qur’an runs contrary to the Constitution of the United States and of New York, which Mr. Mamdani has sworn to uphold, is it appropriate and is he sincere?
Does Mamdani believe in child slavery, forced marriage, institutionalized misogyny, capitol punishment for the sexually immoral, and a list of other atrocities which the Qur’an endorses?
Does he advocate for violent jihad and military conquest, since one of the Qur’ans he chose to swear on was published during the Ottoman Empire, when Islam’s military expansion was at its peak?
The symbolism is rich; Americans must stay alert and keep their promise to “Never Forget!”
Nothing reveals a political party’s priorities like what they’re willing to shut down the government over.
For weeks now, employees of DHS have been working without pay, including the Secret Service, the Coast Guard, FEMA, and most notably Immigrations and Customs Enforcement, better known as ICE.
These federal employees have been left out in the cold by the Democrats in Congress who are opposed to ICE’s responsibility of rounding up and deporting the illegal aliens who’ve snuck into the country – even when the focus of the deportation efforts has been on illegals with a known history of violence and criminality.
Democrats are willing to put the citizens of this country at risk from foreign criminals, political violence, and natural disasters for the sake of protecting illegal immigrants with no respect for American laws or culture.
ICE is doing important work for our country. We stand with the brave men and women of ICE!
