The Threat Is Real

The threat we lay before you today is real, burgeoning, and, barring an act of God, is here to stay. That being said, we do not desire to spark fear or anxiety within our readers. Instead, we would urge you to take this to the Lord in prayer and see it as an opportunity to spread the gospel. As Oswald Chambers encouraged: “The remarkable thing about God is that when you fear God, you fear nothing else, whereas if you do not fear God, you fear everything else.” So, as you read the following, trust in God, fear Him alone, and do not fear the future, but rely on what God has in store for us! Nothing takes our Creator by surprise and all that comes our way is “Father filtered.”

What is this threat that lies before us? It’s a darkness that is casting its shadow around the world, but, by God’s grace, we won’t worry because we know that Light will prevail. However, in the meantime, the threat of Islam is real and regardless of what others tell you, it’s not compatible with freedom, Christianity, or our nation’s Constitution.

The shadow of Islam has been drawing Europe into its clutches of darkness for some time now, increasingly so. However, there are places in Europe that are finally realizing the menace of increasing Muslim numbers, recognizing the looming nightmare, and are starting to awake from their sleep of ignorance in a cold sweat. We are well aware of what this threat means to our middle eastern ally, Israel. And with the closing of Christmas markets in Germany due to the threat which comes from Islamic ideology, we see a clear example of the threat to Christians.

Hugh Fitzgerald, writing for jihadwatch.org, puts this threat in perspective: “There are now 44 million Muslims in Europe, with more arriving every day. Muslim mothers in Europe have much higher birth rates than do the indigenous non-Muslims.” He closes his article with a word of hope, IF the European governments and their people have the fortitude to stand. “There is still time — just — to stop the demographic conquest of Europe. This will in practice mean not just ending immigration from Muslim lands, but also promptly deporting Muslim illegals and those convicted of crimes who are already in the country, and withholding welfare benefits from immigrants until they have been gainfully employed for at least five years. And this will require the indigenous Europeans not just to recognize what has been happening to their countries, but to vote into power the people who are prepared to act to limit Muslim numbers. And all the opinion polls indicate that across the continent people are now ready to do so.” (Emphasis added)

Having allowed and in some cases welcomed various forms of jihad to penetrate the U.S., many Americans have been slow to see the same danger here. It doesn’t help that our own government and several church denominations have allowed such infiltration to take place, sometimes being willfully blind, beguiled, or complicit with the promotion of Islam as a religion instead of accurately identifying it with its true identity – a violently political ideology that demands to rule every aspect on one’s life.

There are many cities within the U.S. which have had a drastic increase in their Muslim population, accompanying those rising numbers often brings a change in the landscape, an ignoring of set laws and ordinances, and often a decrease in the feelings of safety as certain extremists become more vocal about taking over neighborhoods, cities, and even the nation. While we cannot lay these troubles at the feet of every Muslim, we are witnessing increases of entitlement, violent speech, and threats as well as perpetrated violence. While we should expect certain legal actions from our government, we as individuals are not to respond in kind, but we are, by God’s grace, to be kind, to be loving, and to share the gospel. Again, we are not to fear men; we are to trust God.

An example of Americans embracing Islam can be found in Patterson, New Jersey. It proudly calls itself the “first Muslim city,” and they’re striving to force Islamic principles on people through laws or violence. Similar pushes can be found in Houston, Minneapolis, and to a somewhat lesser extent, Dearborn.

There are some outspoken Americans who see the truth regarding this darkness and are sounding the alarm like watchmen on the wall. May God help us to wake up, be aware, and take heed to those truth-tellers. Here are a few of their warnings:

Charlie Kirk posted one day before his assassination: “Islam is the sword the left is using to slit the throat of America.”

Alabama’s Senator Tuberville warned: “The enemy is inside the gates.”

Tulsi Gabbard, Director of National Intelligence, passionately proclaimed at Turning Point USA’s AmericaFest conference: “There is a threat to our freedom that is not often talked about enough, and it is the greatest near and long-term threat to both our freedom and our security, and that is the threat of Islamist ideology.” She also hit the nail on the head in comparing Christianity versus Islam: “When we understand our freedom comes from God, and no one else, we understand the seriousness of this Islamist ideology threat. Because it means they deny that God is the one who has bestowed this right to freedom in every one of us.”

We, the People, of the United States of America must soon recognize the seriousness of the Islamic threat already present within our borders and within our governments, both local and federal. It’s vital that we call upon our government to insist on the assimilation of immigrants to our laws or to demand their deportation; anything less is inviting subversion, erosion, and destruction of western civilization. It’s spitting on the great gift that God has given us as a nation. As individuals, let us share the light of truth contained in the gospel, that Jesus is the only way, the truth, and the life. There is no other way to God the Father, no other way to Heaven except through Him. That is the only true stop to the encroaching darkness, here or anywhere.
