This was a year of reaching new heights for ADA. Our organization celebrated 40 years of fighting the fight against indecency, and we also had the opportunity to receive the advice and creative direction of Aaron Greer, who worked on our podcasts. We had an intern who contributed to the newsletter and multimedia, as well. It was certainly a time of new opportunities and of God’s hand being at work.
It was also a time period of great uncertainty. The year has been fraught with unexpected and unfortunate events, including the untimely and shocking death of Charlie Kirk.
We know that the Lord is still with us in times of trouble, however. His will is for us to remain steadfast and loyal to Him even when things don’t make sense. We take joy in the fact that many of you still supported us and continue to support us with the giving of your donations, in the thoughts and prayers you have sent, and in the words of encouragement offered.
Words can’t describe how impactful and supportive you’ve been all these years. The ministry started with a nudge and a nod, with a desire to be holy as God is holy. It started with a man who had had an addiction and sought to live a life that was upright in the sight of God.
Years later, a ministry was born. The desire to tackle the evil of pornography and the activism that came with it was a step that started this movement. It is a cause that is still important in the times we are living in today, as many people’s lives have been tarnished by these besetting sins of the flesh.
It has been an honor and a privilege to work alongside you in spreading a message of truth, like a lone cry in the wilderness. Beyond the newsletter, there is an opportunity to send a message beyond our town to those who dwell in other lands.
Despite the problems associated with the internet, the web can also serve as a place to harvest. A place to cast one’s nets. It is a place that can connect people, and it can send forth a message to just the person God allows it to reach.
We ask for prayers for these people that we have reached and for those we have the potential to reach. That they would not only glean some truth from our podcasts, short videos, and web articles, but that they would also know the King of Kings and accept Him into their lives, living out their faith day by day and hour by hour.
Please consider sending your support this Giving Tuesday to help spread the important message of decency to the world.
May you have a joyous holiday, being watchful of the work of Christ in your own life and the lives of others. We hope to continue to serve you and steward our gifts for the glory of Christ. Soli Deo Gloria.
