As we look at the news around us, let us first and foremost look to God. The news is often so disturbing; trusting God is comforting. Instead of becoming engulfed in the anxiety of the pervading darkness, let us be enthralled, encouraged, and eased by the perfect light of God’s love. Might we adopt George Mueller’s philosophy on holy living: “The beginning of anxiety is the end of faith, and the beginning of true faith is the end of anxiety.”
Each of this week’s Decency Minutes is disturbing in their own way: Our first script points out the extreme darkness of surrogacy. Any form of human trafficking is gut-wrenching, but it hits us all a little harder when children are involved. While our second Decency Minute praises God for the decline in people chasing after the LGBT+ lifestyle, don’t forget that there are still many entangled in this cultural web of deception and many whose lives have been forever changed by accepting the lies they had been told. Might we continue to pray and trust God for their eyes to be opened, for those who have seen the truth to find healing, and that each may be restored to the ways in which God has created them to be. Our third script deals with artificial intelligence; many struggle with anxiety as they see AI’s increased abilities, the blurring of reality, and how all these things will affect them.
The best we can do is shown by Vance Havner, a Baptist evangelist, who related the story of an elderly lady who was greatly disturbed by her many troubles both real and imaginary. Finally, she was told in a kindly way by her family, “Grandma, we’ve done all we can do for you. You’ll just have to trust God for the rest.” A look of utter despair spread over her face as she replied, “Oh, dear, has it come to that?” Mr. Havner commented, “It always comes to that, so we might as well begin with that!”
I pray that these well-worn, yet ever-strong, verses found in Proverbs 3:5-7 will be of comfort to you as you live them out:
“Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths. Be not wise in thine own eyes: fear the LORD, and depart from evil.”
This Method of Human Trafficking Should Be Illegal Too
Conservatives are rightly skeptical of anything that comes out of the United Nations, as they push a globalist agenda. However, a recent U.N. report shows that even a stopped clock is right twice a day. The report urges all countries to ban surrogacy – which turns babies into commodities.
Surrogacy has been banned in a number of European countries. However, it’s a lucrative business in the U.S. – with no regulation or oversight.
It’s nothing more than child trafficking, where babies are created and sold to unvetted buyers – a large percentage of which are homosexual couples and single men. There’s no way of knowing how many babies have been created for the purpose of being horrifically abused and no one is ever the wiser.
Urge your senators and representative to ban commercial surrogacy. Call 202-224-3121. That’s 202-224-3121.
Earlier this month, conservatives were disappointed when the Supreme Court declined to review the 2015 landmark case, Obergefell v Hodges, which legalized homosexual marriage in the U S.
Since then, as we warned, society has only continued to crumble.
LG became LGBT which became LGBTQ which became LGBTQIA +
No one knows what anything is anymore, or what it’s for.
But, recent studies are showing that the trend is reversing.
Students identifying themselves as non-binary peaked in 2023 and have halved in each of the 2 years since.
The roughly 70 percent supporting gay marriage over the past half decade dropped in late 2025 to 54 percent.
America may have reached peak gay.
May Americans once again see God’s handiwork when they look in the mirror, and trust His plan for His creation.
We live in a day and age where identity theft has taken on a whole new meaning – your identity could be hijacked by an artificial intelligence or AI may slander you: lying about what you believe, say, or do.
When conservative political podcaster Matt Walsh called a chatbot designed to mimic him, his AI doppelganger voiced support for same-sex “marriage” and transgenderism, both of which the real Walsh strongly opposes.
What was Walsh’s response? “It should be against the law. You should not be able to use my likeness to create or my voice without my consent. I should be able to sue to make this go away.”
Let us live in such a way that we are well-known for holy living and walking in righteousness. It may not slow down the lies, but it will make them less believable.
