When listening to Bill Johnson narrate these Decency Minutes by clicking on their titles or reading their scripts below, one cannot help but notice that many of our rights are either vanishing before our eyes or becoming an “endangered species.” Fact of the matter is, our rights are God-ordained and no one can take them away from us; it’s just that the constitutional guarantee of their protection is evaporating at an alarming rate.
The important question is this: What will we do with our God-given rights, protected or not?
The Apostle Paul used his rights as a Roman citizen to further the name of Jesus and the Kingdom of God. Even when it meant, for the sake of the Gospel, to remain in bonds when he could have been set free.
How about us? Are we more concerned with our freedom or with representing Christ well and sharing the Gospel of Jesus? Are we more concerned with expanding our liberties or expanding the Kingdom of God? These do not need to be mutually exclusive, but they might be.
As we think of our “shrinking Constitution,” let us care about voting rightly, protecting our elections, and using whatever legal means necessary to protect the precious gifts God has given us. After having done our duty in these things, rest and rely on the Lord. After all, our hope is truly in Him.
Regardless the outcome of this election, be sure to stand fast on the name of Jesus, telling others of God’s grace and His transforming power. For that is the ONLY way to truly make a difference for good in America.
In 2019, after the Democrat debates, then Democrat presidential candidate Kamala Harris called out Twitter and Facebook for allowing free speech on their platforms. She said “They are directly speaking to millions and millions of people without any level of oversight or regulation, and that has to stop.”
Just as candidate Kamala hinted at what the future would hold in 2019, her 2024 VP candidate Tim Walz is giving hints as well. Here’s what he has to say about free speech: “There’s no guarantee to free speech on misinformation or hate speech, and especially around our democracy…”
The thing is, of course the guarantee of free speech extends to “misinformation” and “hate speech!” Saying popular things that people like to hear doesn’t require constitutional protections, it’s the unpopular, critical things which will be received as stupid or mean that require protection.
After 233 years of governing uncontested, Free Speech is on the ballot in 2024.

Illegals speeding toward the polls
Every day there’s a new report of illegal immigrants committing heinous crimes. In Manhattan, 75 percent of all arrests are illegal aliens. It’s occurring in small town America too; last week a 14-year-old girl in an Indiana town of 11,000 was randomly stabbed by an illegal while watching her brother’s baseball game.
But that’s not the only illegal crime occurring. In Democrat-controlled swing states, thousands of illegal aliens have been found on voter rolls. However, Democrats assure us that it’s not a problem because it’s illegal for noncitizens to vote.
You know what else is illegal? Speeding. Yet millions of drivers speed every day. Stating something is illegal doesn’t magically prevent it from occurring. Democrats not only aren’t preventing illegal voting, they enable it as part of their plan to maintain their grip on power.
Pray that God, in His mercy, will overrule their schemes.
Fraud relies on deception and cannot stand the scrutiny that truth demands; herein lies the road from liberty to tyranny. Recently, Attorney General Garland used the plight of J6 “protesters” as a threat, warning those who question rigged elections to remain silent.
“I think our prosecutions have made clear…how seriously we take an effort to interfere with the peaceful transfer of power the last January 6, the coming January 6, and every January 6 after that.”
Unveiling the not-so-veiled threat, pollster Richard Baris explained, “This is what 50% of the country heard from Garland. ‘We’re gonna steal this election, and if you try to fight us, we’ll put you in prison.’”
Michigan Secretary of State Jocelyn Benson threatened local officials who question election results, saying, “We will come for you.”
Will we be like lethargic sheep or turn to God and stand therefore, for truth and honor in our elections.
