Contact your Michigan senator before noon!

By: Steve Huston

The following is an email sent from Citizens for Traditional Values that affects the state of Michigan, please help us protect the lives of those women who will consider having an abortion and those children who are occupying these wombs. To learn more about this Michigan so-called Reproductive Health Act (RHA) see our email alert from last week.

Here is the email from CTV:

Dear Friends,

We learned today that the package of Senate bills that are part of the so-called “Reproductive Health Act” (RHA) will be voted on in committee today (Tuesday the 17th) at 12pm noon. You have heard us refer to these several times. We need calls and emails to these senators (see below).

 Your message is simple:

It is critical that women know that the clinics they visit are regulated to protect essential health and safety standards and they have the right to know of any clinic violations or sanctions!

Women should always have ALL information regarding any procedures that can impact their body—Informed consent is NOT an inconvenience nor is it a barrier to getting an abortion. This is common sense information that will protect women in their decision-making processes—don’t short circuit this!

When’s the last time any industry, especially one involving Medical/Surgical treatments, removed its regulations and its reporting requirements?

These protections all existed under Roe v. Wade—Keeping them was a promise made to voters—they should not be removed now.

Women deserve better—Please vote NO on SB 474–477.
