A MUCH NEEDED Healthcare alternative

By: Bill Johnson

Mark your calendars! Let others know! JOIN US at American Decency headquarters (203 E. Main, Fremont) on Thursday, March 17 at 6:30 PM! Get a sneak peak of what our event will look like by joining us on Rumble on March 15, 2022.

Gas prices going through the roof? The same with food, lumber, and just about everything. It doesn’t have to be that way; but it is happening! And with the continually increasing concern regarding healthcare, healthcare policies, the many concerning agendas, and the eroding of trust and regard for those entrusted with caring for our lives, where does one turn?

In recent years, we have found a healthcare alternative.  I am referring to the Christian Healthcare Centers based in Grand Rapids, Michigan – now on the verge (within a matter of a very few days) of opening up a satellite center in Newaygo. Click here to learn more about this new facility.

I imagine you have questions like “What is Christian Healthcare Centers?” or “What makes them different, AND DESIREABLE, compared to other healthcare insurance and facilities?” Below you’ll find some commonly asked questions that we will be asking Mark Blocher, the founder of Christian Healthcare Centers. You will want to attend either our online interview with him, available on Rumble on March 15 or come to American Decency headquarters on Thursday, March 17 at 6:30 PM, as he speaks to the concerns of healthcare in this changing world and answers questions about this healthcare ministry of his.

Some questions you can expect to be answered:

I assume you named your facility Christian Healthcare Services because you’re a Christian organization. What is there about the way you do business and serve a person that clearly demonstrates Christianity?

Tell us a bit about what CHC does.

Why did you believe God led you into the founding of such an organization?

Recognizing how quickly healthcare costs are rising, can you give me a sense of contrast between the price of a particular surgery performed in a traditional care center, or hospital, and the Christian Healthcare Center?

What kind of health care services will this new center in Newaygo offer?

What kind services will your Newaygo facility be able to offer patients in the immediate future? And how will that stand out within a one or two-year period?

Is the facility in Grand Rapids overwhelmed by patients? What do you anticipate for this new location?

What affiliation do you have with insurance plans? There are a number of people affiliated with Samaritan Ministries that go through medical care with you at CHC. How does that work?

How do you handle emergency situations like a massive heart attack or a serious shooting?

How do you handle prescriptions? Are there any limitations or wait periods?

It’s likely too early to say how long a patient in Newaygo would expect to wait; but typically, how long of a wait is it for your patients in Grand Rapid to see their doctor?

These are only a few of the questions we will be asking Mark; please join us with a few of your own. In the meantime, if you really want to better understand the importance of having a ministry like this, AND HAVING ONE IN YOUR AREA, check out the following links (click on episode number), where Daniel Horowitz discusses the problem of healthcare in the United States (episode 130), talks with one doctor about the problem and potential solutions (episode 131), and finally, speaks with another doctor who has developed the solution in Oklahoma, which is much like CHC (episode 132).
