President Donald J. Trump has moved like a whirlwind, reversing the previous administration’s ungodly and often unconstitutional attacks against common sense, sanity, and the citizens of the United States. Gary Bauer rightly describes his tireless efforts to aright our nation: “President Trump is working each day like it may be his last. He’s doing everything he can to restore America as a great nation and restore the American people as the custodians and governing citizens of our nation… Donald Trump does in a day what a normal president does in a month.

He’s protecting women athletes from confused men, protecting children within our educational system from WOKE teachers and WOKE agendas, protecting the citizens of this great nation from the World Health Organization by pulling us out of it and strengthening our borders to protect us from others harms that illegal border crossers might bring, and he’s pardoning the wrongly incarcerated political prisoners of January 6th, – that’s the very short list of the many things he’s done in his first month in office of his second term.

In addition to these, the president has moved quickly to not only restore sanity to our military, but also to right the many wrongs that took place under the previous administration. Thank you, President Trump, for reinstating and giving back pay to members who were wrongly discharged for refusing the COVID shot, for banning DEI initiatives, and for prohibiting gender-confused persons from enlisting into our military. These things should go a long way in restoring American’s faith in our military. It should also begin to alleviate some of the anxieties our allies have felt over the past four years.

There is another great thing our president has done regarding the military; it’s an act that goes along with those who are calling him “the most pro-life president” we’ve ever had. To this we not only owe thanks to President Trump, but, we owe a debt of gratitude to the man who stood in the gap until President Trump came along to stand for life regarding our military and their family members.

Standing strong, standing long, that would describe Senator Tommy Tuberville’s (R-AL) valiant position for life, even when some from his own party would disparage him. We are so thankful that President Trump’s Pentagon has reversed the Biden administration’s policy of funding abortion travel expenses for military members. That’s right, taxpayers will no longer be footing the bill, thanks to an executive order issued by President Donald Trump.

We’ve reported several times on Sen. Tuberville’s anchored stand for life, refusing to budge in the face of strong opposition and false accusations. We are now pleased to report and say “Thank you, Sen. Tuberville, for your faithful and valiant stand for life and for right.” When he heard that the Department of Defense would no longer be funding abortions for military members, he issued the following statement:

For the past two years, I have been sounding the alarm about the Pentagon’s illegal and immoral practice of using taxpayer dollars to fund abortions. I took a lot of heat when I stood alone for nearly a year in holding senior Pentagon promotions over this—but as of today, it was all worth it. The Biden administration treated taxpayers like their own personal Piggy bank that they could use to bankroll their woke agenda. President Trump and Secretary Hegseth affirmed today what I’ve been fighting for since I got to Washington: zero taxpayer dollars should go towards abortions. Under President Trump and Secretary Hegseth’s leadership, the Pentagon will once again be focused on lethality, not pushing a political agenda. Thank God common sense has been restored to our military under President Trump’s leadership.

Thankfulness is long overdue. One of the many people who thanked Sen. Tuberville was President of the Heritage Foundation, Dr. Kevin Roberts: “When Mr. Smith goes to Washington, Washington always fights back. That’s never been more clear than this year. While many in this town are content to continue business as usual, even if that means illegally paying to send American babies to their death, Sen. Tuberville refused. He refused to acquiesce to a politicized Department of Defense that demanded pay raises and promotions while they turned against America and the rule of law. He refused to abandon unborn children in favor of unelected bureaucrats. He refused to give into the status quo and turn against America’s grassroots who demanded a senator with a spine. Unfortunately, Sen. Tuberville was abandoned and undermined by his colleagues for the legitimate use of Senate procedures to say ‘no.’ The same senators who claim the mantle of tradition and Senate norms worked with the Left, threatening to destroy decades-old rules governing promotions rather than force Schumer to back down and vote one-by-one on these promotions. Pro-Life Americans thank Sen. Tuberville for his tireless efforts to fight the turning over of the Department of Defense to the abortion industry. We also look forward to efforts in the House to defund the administration’s illegal abortion-travel policy in the upcoming NDAA. Heritage Action urges lawmakers to oppose any NDAA which fails to protect life and uphold the integrity of our military.”

President Trump has done his part; Sen. Tuberville has done his; and, now, it’s time for you and I to do ours. Contact your U.S. Representative and urge them to support Rep. Eric Burlison’s (R-MO) Life at Conception Act (HR722) which has been introduced to recognize children as humans to be protected under the 14th Amendment.

In introducing HR722 Rep. Burlison stated, “Every life is a sacred gift from God, deserving of dignity and protection from the moment of conception. The Life at Conception Act uses Congress’ constitutional authority to define personhood, fulfilling our moral and legal obligation to safeguard the lives of the unborn.

Lifesitenews.com reports: “The legislation faces weighty hurdles, considering that it has been introduced over 13 times since 2011 and has never made it out of committee, even when it was introduced several times during a unified Republican government under President Donald Trump’s first term.

There may be much opposition, but there is also a lot of headway being made; urge your U.S. Representative to strike while the iron is hot. Let them know that their constituents want HR722 passed!
