Help Keep Us in the Battle for Truth

As we close out 2024 and prepare for another year of standing for Truth, we count it a great privilege to be able to minister in the mighty name of the Lord and to have friends who enable us to stay in the battle.

Our hearts have already been lifted up by recent words of appreciation that relate to our ministry calling, both from new and old friends.  After hosting prayer vigils for our nation in October and on election day, we received this affirming note from someone who joined us as a result of an ad we placed promoting the time of prayer:

“Thank you so much for including me and my friends in your vigil of praying for our nation.  What an honor it was to be included in this awesome vigil of God.  I am so thankful to your group for putting this on, especially in such a need for our nation to turn back to God.  I pray it continues until Jesus our precious Lord comes back.  I look forward to many more prayer vigils going forward. (Ps. 133) Much love and prayers in Christ.” R.S.

And then there’s this note that touched my heart from dear, longtime friends of this ministry:

“We are so grateful that you have been faithful to God’s call upon your lives.  You are like a watchman guarding our society today.” Gratefully, B. & J. W.

The faithfulness of a solid core of steadfast Christian friends has once again fueled us forward this past year.  There are immense pressures on many of you – including financial pressures – yet you have stood with us.

As you know, we are a ministry that makes it a point in our labors only to ask for donations when we see some concerning financial downturn or have an urgent need – which you know has been rare.  We thank God!

We are at such a moment now. Our monthly giving is down and inflation is up, as we all know too well! It is strong year-end giving (as well as faithful giving month after month) that enables us to keep our focus on our salt and light work, as we have sought to do over these many years of ministry.

We are hoping to start 2025 out strong, as we are confident that God will have many fronts in which He will position us.

Despite the election results, we anticipate greater pressures from the realms of darkness against those who speak the Truth.  As puritan William Gurnall wrote in The Christian in Complete Armour: “It is the image of God reflected in you that so enrages hell; it is this at which the demons hurl their mightiest weapons.”

However, our staff remains steadfast.  By the grace of God, we have been immensely blessed and equipped to minister in His Holy Name, come what may. We love the Lord and seek to perform our duties to the glory of God, and rest in the fact that He will use them for His glory and our good.

We couldn’t do what we do without God’s grace and the support of His people – through financial gifts, prayers, and words of encouragement. 

Your year-end support would be deeply appreciated and an encouragement to us that, despite the times, you are with us.
