As God Leads …

Have you gone through the drive-thru of McDonald’s lately and seen the price of their Quarter Pounders, for example?  Ouch.   I have heard others comment upon such price increases that are seen across the board.

However, my purpose here isn’t to complain about increased pricing at the pump or at fast-food restaurants.

I am writing to say that we at American Decency are seeing those price increases too.   Another place that we have concern is in the sharp decrease in the number of gifts in recent months.   Three times upon going to the post office this week we had the highly unusual experience of discovering that we hadn’t received even one gift on those days!

These are difficult times, yet we count it a great privilege to be able to minister in God’s mighty name and to have friends who enable us to stay in the battle for Truth. We couldn’t do what we do without God’s grace and the support of His people – through financial gifts, prayers, and words of encouragement.

These challenging times require each of us to not grow weary in well-doing, but rather continue to stand as God calls and enables. The assaults upon the authority of Scripture, the sanctity of life, marriage, gender, the Constitution, and the rule of law are looming larger with each passing day. Thank you for partnering with us as we speak into each of these issues, and many more, every day.

To be supported so generously and faithfully over these many years has been one of the great blessings and encouragements to us.   At the same time, we recognize that inflation may also be impacting your ability to take care of your financial needs. We understand that and know some of you really are having to cut back somewhere.  As always, as you are able and as God leads, dear friends in Christ, please stand with us as together we continue in ministry!  To God be the Glory!
