Three in Three

By: Steve Huston

We trust that you’ll enjoy reading these three short tidbits of news. They’re actually the scripts which Bill Johnson, founder and president of American Decency Association (ADA) has used in recording “A Decency Minute” that can be heard weekly on American Family Radio (AFR), Voice of the Lord Tabernacle (VOTL), and a radio station based in the Ozarks – thanks to our friend George Shultz. Regardless of where one lives, they can listen to these, and others, on our website at www.americandecency.org.

Courage to Stand Alone

It takes courage to stand for what you believe in – especially when you stand alone.  One NHL hockey player for the Philadelphia Flyers exemplified such courage when he skipped warmup for a recent game because he didn’t want to wear an LGBT rainbow jersey for Pride Night.

Afterwards, when hounded by media. which portrayed him as a bigot, he simply replied:  “I respect everybody, and I respect everybody’s choices. My choice is to stay true to myself and my religion.

But for the Left, choice is a one-way street.  The tolerance LGBT advocates claimed they wanted has warped into a demand for affirmation.

When all others bowed to the golden idol of LGBT ideology, one hockey player stood and was thrown into the fiery furnace of media outrage.  May we have the same courage to stand – knowing that we truly aren’t alone, with Jesus by our side.

WEF: Both Threatened and a Threat

Last week, the annual World Economic Forum once more converged upon Davos to discuss world leaders’ intentions for the future. Among the comments made was one from my own governor saying Michigan’s radical pro-abortion stance gives her hope for the future.

A panel member admitted that they’d “worked really close with Hollywood” on normalizing LGBTQ issues.

Former British Prime Minister Tony Blair called for an international digital database for vaccinations, saying “you’ve GOT to have that.”

John Kerry called it pretty extraordinary that they, a “select group of human beings,” are able come together to talk about saving the planet.

Perhaps most alarming of all is the theme of this year’s event: “Cooperating in a Fragmented World.”

“Fragmentation” as they call it, is individualism – as in individual rights, goals, priorities and decisions.

That is what their “select group” is threatened by, and why the WEF is a threat to us.
