“Ruse” is a word that is indicative of deception, subterfuge, trickery, and apparently what the Republicans used to gain prominence over the Democrats in the House of Representatives during the midterm elections. What else could one call it when Republican Representatives took advantage of the public’s disgust over wokeism to win the House? If they were serious about representing their electorate’s desires that would be one thing; instead, they use that political win to pet, nurture, and grow that Marxist monster which gobbles up industries, businesses, and common sense only to spit out the bones of such into shallow graves in wokeism’s wake. Whatever wokeism touches dies.
Certainly, those who represent us politically know this, but they don’t seem to care. I think our readers would have little choice but to agree upon reading the new chairman of the House Financial Services Committee, Rep. Patrick McHenry’s (R-NC), declaration that every single one of his subcommittees will make it a top priority to advance “diversity and inclusion.”
The New American, quoting the The Washington Free Beacon, writes, “Although one of McHenry’s first acts as chairman was to dissolve the Subcommittee on Diversity and Inclusion established by his predecessor Rep. Maxine Waters (D., Calif.), the task set out by that subcommittee now appears to have bled into the entire committee’s work. Each of those subcommittees, all led by Republicans, includes the term ‘diversity and inclusion’ in the brief description of its jurisdiction.”
Each of these subcommittees is dedicated to wokeism! That should be concerning to each one of us. Now, here’s the question: Will each of those in charge of these subcommittees be as dedicated to “diversity and inclusion” as McHenry is or are they willing to stand for the good of those who put them in office, regardless the cost.
For those of us who live in Michigan, we have a responsibility to ask Bill Huizenga that very question. As The New American reports:
“Rep. Bill Huizenga’s (R-Mich.) subcommittee on oversight and investigations is tasked with ‘overseeing all agencies, departments, programs and matters within the Financial Services Committee’s jurisdiction, including agency and programmatic commitment to diversity and inclusion policies and best practices.’”
We urge you to contact Rep. Huizenga at his Michigan and/or Washington D.C. office(s) – click here for email addresses and phone numbers. Let him know that you expect staunch conservative decisions regarding his subcommittee. Remind him that Marxist policies, such as wokeism, must be killed or it will kill.
A few paragraphs up I mentioned doing the right thing “regardless the cost.” There are those who have gone before who have paid the cost for doing the right thing; they’ve been pushed out of or been refused appointments, but left with their integrity intact. Such a one is Patrick Colbeck. He continues to be a bold truthteller and tireless fighter for the people of this republic. I urge you to “do the right thing” – show your gratitude for Patrick’s continuing service in the private sector, uncovering election fraud and promoting election integrity. Come to the American Decency Association Thursday, February 9 at 6:30 pm to hear what he’s been doing, uncovered, and steps we can take to ensure free and fair elections in the future.
