Join us for a time of encouragement and fellowship

By: American Decency Staff

We are so concerned about where our nation is heading, yearning to see our children and grandchildren know of America’s rich spiritual founding, desiring to see America humble herself, repent of her sin, and turn full-face back to God.

Our minds can “look ahead” and catch glimpses of what the future might look like, and we are concerned.

But then, slowly our minds, by God’s grace, turn back to our all-powerful God and how He is so gracious and, indeed, MERCIFUL!  We are reminded that He loves us and cares for us – even our wayward selves.

God would not have us be discouraged, but to know that “God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.” (Psalm 46:1) Help us to hunger for the Holy Spirit!

For myself, I have been struggling!  I know many of you are too. I couldn’t get my arms around how to address our shared “discouragement.”   We want to be an encouragement to each other and our ministry’s friends. We’re inviting you to join us for a fellowship breakfast with one another and our Lord and Savior and enjoy Lisa’s special egg casserole, with which our dear mailing volunteers over the years are so familiar.  Following breakfast we will have a short time of testimonies, have a couple of special friends share words of encouragement to remind us of God’s great work going on despite the challenges and concerning news, and perhaps ask one of our favorite pianists to lead us in singing a couple of old-time hymns of praise and worship.  And, together we would know that God is God and He is here with us!

Therefore, in light of Jesus’ command to “let not your hearts be troubled,” we humbly invite you to a time of encouragement, gratitude, and prayer.   Please, would you join us at the American Decency Headquarters (203 E. Main St. Fremont, MI) on Saturday, September 16, 2023 at 9:00 AM.  Our key speaker will be Stephen Black, former homosexual who was powerfully transformed by God.  He will be joined by other local speakers in acknowledging what God has done in our beloved America, confess our sins, and ask for His helping hand to lead us in and through these troubled waters.

To help us plan, please RSVP by calling Kimberly at 231-924-4050 or email kimberly@americandecency.org.  We hope to see you Saturday, September 16!
