Antifa’s Anarchial Antics

Protestors have been camped out for months on the grounds of the planned construction site of a new training facility for the Atlanta Police Department.

The situation escalated last week, when a protestor opened fire on the police, striking an officer. The officer is recovering, but the offender was shot and killed by police.

Earlier in January, a group of anarchists vandalized the Florida office of the construction group contracted to build the Georgia training center; they also sabotaged the company’s equipment and vandalized their trailer at a current Florida job site:  a children’s hospital.

This took place shortly after the Bank of America in Seattle was set ablaze for funding the Atlanta training facility project.

Although Antifa isn’t in the headlines, they’re still very much threatening the lives and livelihoods of American citizens. Where is the news coverage and federal response? Strangely absent. Is it because they’re on Antifa’s side?

Snatching defeat from the jaws of victory, Republican Representatives took advantage of the public’s disgust over the Left’s wokeism and won the House, but now they’re embracing the same woke agenda that pushed Democrats out of leadership.

Republican Representative Patrick McHenry, new chairman of the House Financial Services Committee, has declared that every one of his subcommittees will make it a top priority to advance “diversity and inclusion,” – that’s wokeism’s mantra.

This dedication to wokeism should greatly concern us. Michigan’s Representative Bill Huizenga chairs one of these committees. Will he be as dedicated to “diversity and inclusion” as McHenry is, or will he stand faithfully for the good of those who put him in office.

Prepare NOW for Doomsday!

Reminiscent of the Little Red Hen shouting, “The sky is falling, the sky is falling!”, the Bulletin of Atomic Scientists, a group of handwringing scientists and climate activists made their yearly prediction regarding how close we are to a global disaster – or doomsday.  Using an imaginary clock, scientists warned that they’ve set the doomsday clock to 90 seconds before midnight, claiming a potential nuclear war in Ukraine as one of the reasons for their fear-mongering.

Yet Jesus tells us, “You will hear of wars and rumors of wars.  See that you are not alarmed, for this must take place, but the end is not yet.”

Only God knows the hour.  For some, the return of Jesus will be their ultimate Doomsday, for those who rest on Christ as their Savior, it will be the end of death and the beginning of eternal life in a kingdom that never ends. Put your trust in Christ; not the foolishness of men.
