All Based Upon a Lie

In his book Dangerous Affliction – The Threat of Gay Christianity,  MD Perkins applies these observations to the church:

 “There are five central  ways in which ‘gay Christianity’ is impacting the Christian church:  the rethinking of theology, the rethinking of the Bible, the rethinking of the church, the rethinking of identity, and the rise of LGBT activists within the church.

…. Like other forms of LGBT activism, ‘gay Christianity’ is a complex and constantly shifting concern.  It is restless and relentless.  Terms change, emphases shift, and subtle challenges are brought in.  It can, at times, sound quite agreeable – as if the only ones truly concerned about Christian love and church unity are those who support “gay Christianity.”  

Gay “Pride” month ends today.   All based upon a lie.  So many in corporate positions have buckled to the
pressures from the Human Rights Campaign (HRC) and other leftist forces.  I repeat:  All based upon a lie!
And men and women with brains and training and high degrees let themselves fall in line – including many who had a Christian upbringing.  And we wonder, where have our gatekeepers gone? 

Put up the pride flag.  Produce, market, and sell gay pride clothing. Tragically, so many have gone along just to get along – meaning just shut up and let the lgbt activists have their way.  Afraid if they speak up, they may lose their promotions, positions, and opportunities, or – for pastors – their youth, their offerings, or ever their church. 

On the eve of this year’s Independence Day, I am using my freedom of speech (while I still have it) to express my heart cry to those who yet have ears to hear to recognize the plight that has engulfed our homes, our children, our churches, and our society and that will destroy any semblance of human civility and honorability if we do not turn this country away from this fast growing godlessness that covers our nation from home to school to church to corporation to vulnerable, confused, misled individual men and women  (and that we have allowed to even degrade and destroy our little children). So many have been blinded and succumbed to the wickedness of  “preferred pronouns,” puberty blockers, hormone replacement therapy, and sex-change operations. 

If you are concerned about these issues, I commend to you during this long weekend, the documentary “In His Image.”

Mom, Dad, Grandma, Grandpa, open your eyes to the truth that is so easily accessible and watch this lovely documentary that will help you see the concern that others have while offering help and hope. 

There’s nothing in it for me.  I’m just an old man on the same journey of life that you are. I want the best for you and our country.  I long for healing and for people to wake up and teach and train and to speak up caringly and boldly wherever the need presents itself; to make a difference; to keep the vulnerable from the clutches of the heresies of “gay Christianity” and gay “pride.”

Dr. Francis Schaeffer wrote these applicable words: God’s Word will never pass away, but looking back to the Old Testament and since the time of Christ, with tears we must say that because of lack of fortitude and faithfulness on the part of God’s people, God’s Word has many times been allowed to be bent, to conform to the surrounding, passing, changing culture of that moment rather than to stand as the inerrant Word of God judging the form of the world spirit and the surrounding culture of that moment. In the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, may our children and grandchildren not say that such can be said about us.
