Acts of Unrestricted Warfare

The flight of a Chinese spy balloon over the continental U.S. and sensitive military installations is just the latest in China’s aggressive acts of espionage on our own soil.  Chinese companies tied to the CCP are buying American farmland and cell towers near U.S. military installations – giving the CCP opportunities for surveillance and interference.

Yet Biden seems more interested in protecting the flow of Chinese money into his family’s coffers than protecting our national security.

Meanwhile, China is building up their military, as the U.S. depletes ours – sending our stockpile of weaponry to Ukraine.  The Chinese navy has now surpassed the U.S. in numbers of ships, while the Biden administration cuts the U.S. fleet.

Americans expect our leaders to fulfill their God-ordained role to protect our nation.  Yet for Christians, our hope is not ultimately in military strength, but in the strong arm of our Lord. 

Who’s Using Whom?

Pop music has a long tradition of flirtation with occult symbolism and performances reminiscent of pagan rituals – and artists from Sammy Davis Jr. to Lana Del Rey have actually participated in the occult. So, when the Grammy’s bait conservative outrage with a performance crafted as a celebration of the devil as they did this year, it’s not beyond the pale to assume that it’s more than an act. But how much of it is actual twisted religious fervor and how much is shock-jock attention grabbing and a spirit of rebellion is difficult to tell.

Either way, Christians are not wrong or foolish for observing and condemning a culture which is quicker to side with a devil they supposedly don’t believe in than with the One True God. While some seek to use Satan as a mascot of rebellion and independence, they are the ones being used.

Feed Your Soul!

There’s nothing more important or more profitable than the Word of God. It’s as important to our spiritual man as food is to our natural body. You would be hard pressed to find anyone who only eats food once or twice a week. Yet for many, the only time they hear or read the Bible is when they go to church. Many are highly concerned about the food they eat, and the effect it might have on their body. Yet they neglect the most important thing of all, what they feed their spirit and soul through their eyes, ears, and mind. Make sure that the word of God is a daily part of your life. It will do for you what nothing else can.

2 Timothy 3:16 exhorts, “All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:”
