A strange title to be sure, but we are sharing with you, in written form our three latest “Decency Minutes” that air on American Family Radio (AFR), Voice of the Lord Tabernacle (VOTL), and a radio station based in the Ozarks – thanks to our friend George Shultz. Freedom or Tyranny Here and There

“We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights …”  These rights aren’t granted by government, but given by God to all mankind.

While that was self-evident to our Founders, it’s a truth that Leftists such as Joe Biden and the Apple Corporation refuse to acknowledge.  As Chinese protestors risk their lives seeking freedom, Biden and Apple are silent, siding instead with Communist China.  It’s no surprise, since both Biden and Apple have been bought and paid for by the CCP.

And while they fail to support the freedom of Chinese citizens, they’re also seeking to suppress the restoration of free speech for Americans on Twitter. As Elon Musk stated, “If free speech is lost even in America, tyranny is all that lies ahead.”

Unless we defend liberty, America will soon become another China.

Social Credit Scores

What’s the next push toward social credit scores? Banks, Visa, and Mastercard have added carbon footprint trackers as one of several new programs to monitor your spending habits. The Epoch Times reports, “The Visa credit card technology also provides ‘education and behavioral nudging’ so that card users aren’t only informed about the CO2 emissions of their buying activity but also told how to reduce them.”

One Chinese tech company announced at the World Economic Forum that it’s developing an “individual carbon footprint tracker” that will monitor people’s behavior in terms of “where they are traveling, how they are traveling, what they are eating, what they are consuming.”

Though developed to fight “climate change,” so-called, many fear it will be used to track other behaviors and eventually play its role in foisting social credit scores on us.

As the world gets on board, are you willing to be left behind?

Meditating on Christ, Carols, and Christmas

Everywhere we look there is great evil surrounding us: in our schools, our government, even in many churches, and in our hearts, for we are sinners in need of a Savior.

But the Savior has come!  He sits on His throne at the right hand of the Father and all authority on Heaven and Earth is given to Him.  Let earth receive her King! Let EVERY heart prepare Him room!

God would have us glorify and enjoy Him, and the carols we sing at Christmas give occasion to express that beautifully and uniquely.

I encourage you to meditate on the words of these Christmas hymns with your families and churches this season.

Ask God to help each of us to roll back lethargy and staleness by glorifying Him and remembering the amazing ways He has saved His people, culminating in the work of the Messiah!

Our hope is in His might!
