By Whose Hand?

Technocracy calls for science to be god; this is what we have been experiencing, as agenda-hungry men drive “science” to control our lives more and more each day. We need to understand that real science is objective; it’s the men behind the science that impose their morals and their “truth” upon their so-called science. Then they weaponize science to further their agenda, calling those with differing morals “science-deniers” and a host of other names hoping to shame them, and others, into compliance.

John W. Robbins, in The Scientist as Evangelist, sums it up quite nicely. “Nuclear energy can be used to light cities or reduce them to ashes. Chemistry can improve nutrition or make nerve gas. Biology can make vaccinations or germ weapons. Science furnishes neither truth nor moral values.”

Today, it is the men who are behind the science who choose the direction and end for which science is used. Men of war, men of Marxism, men of God, each has an intended goal in mind; and each will affect society and the world according to their worldview.

When we think of the way in which world governments and American state governors have responded in this past year; and as we’ve watched our freedoms and liberties erode before our very eyes, all for the “good of the people;” we recognize the truth of Austrian-British economist and philosopher F.A. Hayek’s warning.  “‘Emergencies’ have always been the pretext on which the safeguards of individual liberty have been eroded.”

There needed to be an “emergency” to get the U.S.A. out of the way. Italian Marxist philosopher and one-time leader of the Communist Party of Italy, Antonio Gramsci, would have listed the United States as needing to be in socialism’s/globalism’s crosshairs in order for “The Great Reset” to take place so that they could “Build Back Better.” “Any country grounded in Judeo Christian values cannot be over-thrown until those roots are cut out.  Socialism is precisely the religion that must overwhelm Christianity in the new order. Socialism will triumph by first capturing the culture via infiltration of the schools, universities, churches and the media and by transforming the consciousness of society.”

We have witnessed a continual cutting at the American root as the axe has been laid to Biblical values in the various institutions that affect the family and our culture of self-governance. As the hand that rocks the cradle rocked and shook America’s children and youth to “wokeness,” through education, arts and entertainment, sexual revolution, and government/judicial intervention, many of us have also been shaken to find ourselves awake and in the midst of a Marxist revolution.

America now stands between two deadly enemies: Fear and Confusion.

Fear:  The constant bombardment that a virus with a 99% survivability rate is going to kill us and the propaganda, complete with inflated death statistics, surrounding it has brought a sense of fear into almost every home. A genuine pandemic doesn’t need 24/7 marketing campaigns and endless propaganda; we would see the affects everywhere. Instead, two weeks to “flatten the curve” has turned into more than a year with no end in sight to masking, social distancing, and lockdowns; this is nothing more than a psychological operation perpetrated upon the American people and the world. The fear it’s caused has made people do things they normally wouldn’t do—avoiding cherished relationships, driven to drugs and alcohol, deeper depression and suicide, and taking unproven vaccines while endorsing the idea of “vaccine passports.” Fear has bent the knees of the American public to submission, suspicion of those who think and believe differently, and a surrender of its self-governance and liberty. As The New American writes, “The fear is being stoked for political aims.”

Confusion:  While post-modern “wokeness” has infiltrated our schools, language/thought, work places, entertainment, and government/legislature, a sense of confusion has been thrust into nearly every home—if not confusion of “wokeness” then confusion in how to deal with it. Both of these enemies, Fear and Confusion, are at work attacking the Constitution, the Church, our children, and our communities. As Fear and Confusion become more commonplace and we allow them to be self-forged shackles around our necks, the likelihood of breaking free grows dim. Yet, there IS hope; if not for the nation, at least for individuals who put their trust in Christ and continue to walk, by faith, in the way of holiness and righteousness. Let me share a word of hope for all and then two verses we can use to combat these two enemies.

The Marxists/Globalists would have us to believe that they control all the moves and it is “game over.” As 24 world leaders call for more globalism, we need to be reminded of the words of Adam Smith, a writer that our founding fathers were sure to be familiar with. Read his words and recognize the hope that lies within them as free will resides in the heart of men who love liberty.

“The man of system…is apt to be very wise in his own conceit; and is often so enamored with the supposed beauty of his own ideal plan of government, that he cannot suffer the smallest deviation from any part of it. He goes on to establish it completely and in all its parts, without any regard either to the great interests, or to the strong prejudices which may oppose it. He seems to imagine that he can arrange the different members of a great society with as much ease as the hand arranges the different pieces upon a chess-board. He does not consider that the pieces upon the chess-board have no other principle of motion besides that which the hand impresses upon them; but that, in the great chess-board of human society, every single piece has a principle of motion of its own, altogether different from that which the legislature might choose to impress upon it. If those two principles coincide and act in the same direction, the game of human society will go on easily and harmoniously, and is very likely to be happy and successful. If they are opposite or different, the game will go on miserably, and the society must be at all times in the highest degree of disorder.” (The Theory of Moral Sentiments)

Each of us is a “piece” in this chess-board of societal upheaval; but, by whose hand will you be moved? Will you be moved by the manipulative, Marxist hand of Fear, Confusion, and Force? Or will you submit to the Creator’s Hand and be placed where He deems best? It boils down to submission to man’s plan or God’s; how do we keep our focus on Him? How do we rest in God’s sovereignty while working out our responsibility?

How did David combat the enemy, Fear? He prayed asking God for help. “Hear my voice, O God, in my prayer: preserve my life from fear of the enemy.” (Psalms 64:1) David prayed for preservation, not to be preserved from his enemy but from the FEAR of the enemy. He knew that succumbing to fear can make a person act foolishly as they put their faith in man’s solutions rather than trusting in God.

How did Paul address the enemy, Confusion?He reminded us of where the real answers are; he pointed to the Word of God. The Bible is an ever-contemporary, always pointing true North and helping us set our course. Faith will quench the fiery darts of the wicked and we can stand in the most trying of times. “All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works.” (2 Timothy 3:16-17)

Things may look bleak; but remember that the game isn’t over until Jesus returns. He IS the victor! Let me point you to Joshua and Caleb; they did the right thing, yet they, with Israel, must wander in the wilderness 40 years. Let us be men of “another spirit,” as they were. Others may feel like grasshoppers when they view themselves in light of their giant enemies; instead, let us view our enemies in light of our God, making THEM to be the grasshoppers they are.
