Call or email your representatives very soon; they need to hear from you on the very important matter of HR 4667.Ask them to vote YES.
Tomorrow, Thursday, May 20th the Michigan House of Representatives will likely be voting on HB 4667. This bill would prevent the government from issuing or requiring a vaccine passport.
Regardless of one’s stance on the COVID vaccine, we should all be able to agree that it is wrong for the State or Federal government to coerce its citizens into getting a vaccine whether through the offering of positive incentives or veiled threats due to non-compliance. A vaccine passport poses a substantial threat to our freedoms and we must compel our representatives to stand against such unconstitutional coercion. As we state in the sample letter below, the idea of basing rights and freedoms on the willingness of an individual to accept a medication that has had no long-term trials and has not even been licensed by the FDA is ludicrous. HR4667 will protect the rights of Michigan citizens.

Dear Representative
It has come to my attention that HB4667, which would preclude the installation or utilization of any form of vaccine passport, is likely to soon be up for a vote and that you have not yet expressed an intention to support it.
As a Michigan resident who values my freedom and the freedom of my neighbors, I encourage you to throw the full weight of your support behind this bill.
Not only is the requirement to share private health records a gross violation of privacy, but the idea of basing rights and freedoms on the willingness of an individual to accept a medication that has had no long-term trials and has not even been licensed by the FDA is ludicrous.
This bill protects the rights of Michigan citizens and it is thus your duty to support it.
Sincerely,
