We’d like to start by thanking God for His sovereign and guiding hand. There are times that we plan one way; and God shuts doors only to open new and better ones. Such was the case yesterday. We knew that Chuck Ritchard was a churchman; but throughout the interview we quickly learned that he was also a committed Christian who regularly pointed to Biblical values, the Bible as the solution to our issues, and the springboard from which we should ask real questions when it comes to political candidates.

One of the biggest problems in unseating an incumbent is that once they’re in office they have a definite advantage. Bill asked Chuck why that is and how we can level the playing field. After all, it would be nice to elect a doer/activist rather than see a placeholder/RINO continue to sit in his/her seat doing nothing for the people while collecting a paycheck or even padding their own pockets by playing along to get along.

When looking for candidates to back and/or vote for, our guest said that he wants someone who is both a fiscal conservative AND a social conservative. Many grow weary of hearing a candidate say they believe one way only to have them act and vote in a contrary manner. Mr. Ritchard pointed us to the Bible and gave us a list of telling questions to ask the candidates in order to see where they really stand.

To hear about the questions we should ask those running for office or hoping to hold onto their office, (questions many people don’t think to ask a candidate) listen to this insightful and cutting edge interview. Have a piece of paper handy to take notes. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bVNRCU4adQo&feature=youtu.be

Yesterday’s conversation included how the Parties have changed, particularly the Democrat Party. In an interesting turn of words, Chuck calls them the DIS Party. Not only do they “dis” you, they are the “Democratic, Islamic, Socialist Party.”

Strong national leaders were named and talked about; recognizing our need for and finding out how to gain strong state representatives as well.

In short, this interview showed the importance of asking GOOD questions and doing due diligence when it comes to finding, preparing, and voting for worthwhile political candidates; because it’s more than politics. It’s our future life and it determines the America we leave to our children as an inheritance.

Do yourself and your posterity a favor by watching this interview and implementing the things which were talked about.Share it with your friends, family, and especially your church. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bVNRCU4adQo&feature=youtu.be

Please join us next Thursday at 1 PM; keep an eye on your inbox for upcoming information. We’re looking forward to seeing who God will provide and to spending time with you via Zoom.

We are grateful to God that He has moved on the hearts and minds of our friends, showing us a little of what is inside them. Your notes of encouragement, prayers, and financial support mean so much to us; without them, we wouldn’t be able to do the important work that God has laid upon us.

Won’t you prayerfully seek the Lord’s will to come alongside us again, supporting us in whatever manner you feel led? Thank you.
