WE ARE ON FOR THURSDAY – Both afternoon AND evening

By: Steve Huston

Don’t forget!  TODAY IS THE MICHIGAN PRIMARY ELECTION!  VOTE!

Last week people were blessed to have a double opportunity to meet with kindred minds, both a Zoom meeting with Dave Agema and then a 7 PM prayer meeting held at the American Decency Headquarters. We hope that many of you will join us for these same opportunities this Thursday.

Before giving details on this coming Thursday’s events, let me share with you about the special time of prayer that we had last Thursday:

Last week we hosted, at ADA, a prayer meeting that featured Zach Lahring, Muskegon County Commissioner and several candidates for the Muskegon County Commission.  PLEASE NOTE:  WE WILL BE HOSTING ANOTHER PRAYER GATHERING THURSDAY NIGHT. (Information on this is presented in the second half of this email alert.)

We had heart felt presentations. Curtis Bowers, producer of the highly regarded movie: “Agenda:  Grinding America Down,” answered my question: “Are we in the middle of a revolution?” He made it clear we are; it was later argued by Zach Lahring that, to be more precise, we are nearing the end of the revolution – and IF THINGS DON’T CHANGE THE OUTCOME IS NOT GOOD.

More could be said as we also sang songs of the faith and PRAYED.

THURSDAY’S (8/6/20) 1:00 PM (EST) ZOOMfeatures Bill Johnson interviewing Dick Manasseri.

Dick led the Southeast Michigan Tea Party for several years, leading a terrific ministry in the greater Detroit area. He now heads a national ministry called “Shariah Crime Stoppers,” which was founded, out of his then home, in the greater Detroit area.  He now resides in Florida, continuing his work with “Shariah Crime Stoppers” and also works closely with activist Tom Trento, who heads “United West.”  They are cutting edge and I look forward to talking at length with Dick this Thursday (8/6/20) at 1 PM (EST).   Dick and I will also be discussing – quite at length – our mutual friend Phil Haney and that we believe his death was not by suicide. Those of you who were touched by Phil’s life shouldn’t miss this broadcast.

THURSDAY NIGHT AT 7:00 PM (EST) Prayer Meeting and Hymn Sing

As stated above, I surprised our group with having Curtis Bowers last week.  There will be other surprises in store for this time of prayer, song, encouragement and UNITY IN THE LORD. One such surprise will be that of Chris Gaubatz joining us via Zoom. Chris is a Christian, national security consultant, speaker, and conservative political activist who spent a six-month period undercover, investigating the Washington-based CAIR group in an effort to prove that CAIR is a front for the Muslim Brotherhood, and that CAIR supports international jihad against the U.S.

If you are a believer, we encourage you to join us Thursday evening at 7 PM (EST) either through FaceBook Live or in person at 203 E. Main St, in Fremont, Michigan. These are meant to be times of encouragement, unifying, and a stirring of our spirits to further prayer as we see the work of the evil one unfolding in our day. The devil may be working but He can go no further than God, in His sovereignty, allows. In these days we need to encourage one another to continued faithfulness and to share the saving gospel of Jesus Christ.

May we find encouragement in the words of St. Paul to the Corinthian church in the perilous times ahead:We are troubled on every side, yet not distressed; we are perplexed, but not in despair;  Persecuted, but not forsaken; cast down, but not destroyed; Always bearing about in the body the dying of the Lord Jesus, that the life also of Jesus might be made manifest in our body. For we which live are alway delivered unto death for Jesus’ sake, that the life also of Jesus might be made manifest in our mortal flesh.2 Corinthians 4:8-11

We are grateful to God that He has moved on the hearts and minds of our friends, showing us a little of what is inside them. Your notes of encouragement, prayers, and financial support mean so much to us; without them, we wouldn’t be able to do the important work that God has laid upon us.

Won’t you prayerfully seek the Lord’s will to come alongside us again, supporting us in whatever manner you feel led? Thank you.
