Lex Rex

Lex Rex is a principle of government advocating a rule by law rather than by men. In a Constitutional Republic, such as we have in America, no one is above the law. The law (the Constitution) is king and presidents, congress, judges, governors, all officials and all men are required to obey the law. To put it simply, the law is king, not the other way around.

When the king decides to be an arbitrary law unto himself (Rex Lex), chaos naturally will ensue. In other words, when lawlessness is permitted at higher and authoritative levels, a push for lawlessness will be expected and eventually received among the ordinary citizen. Such breakdown of order results in chaos and destruction. We are watching this unfold before our very eyes.

Muscling in for Mussels

In May, after several days of rain caused flooding throughout the area of the Edenville Dam, the dam was overwhelmed, draining a massive lake right into the homes of those living downstream.

What’s been under-reported is the dam owner’s side of the story in how this was allowed to happen.

They claim that they were required by the state to raise the water level to accommodate endangered fresh water mussels against their own desire to keep levels low from concerns for the safety of those living below the dam. God orchestrates all of these events and when a dam literally bursts, it just might be a Divine hint for metaphorical “dams” that might be bursting in our culture.

God gave us the rule of law as a dam holding back the wickedness of man. What “mussels” are we sacrificing that dam for? Will it hold?

When Black is Red

Do you know what Black Lives Matter is?  It’s readily documented that Black Lives Matter is an organization that has deep communist ties and is meant to be divisive and to destroy our nation.

BLM is lawless—committing acts of vandalism, wanton destruction, killing, and forcing their agenda on others—all being done indiscriminately.

Christians should demand Biblical justice, not support “social justice.” The terminology they use is a great marketing tool. Who can be against “social justice” or against saying, “black lives matter?” Although true, the words have been hijacked and redefined with exact opposite meanings. Biblical justice would ensure true social justice.

The BLM narrative has no desire to forgive; it’s about historical revenge (reparations, demands of submission and false guilt). This organization desires domination not reconciliation. How does devaluing the lives of other ethnicities show that Black lives matter?

Know who and what you are supporting! We must heal, not further destroy, our nation.

Kneeling

Throughout history, conquerors have demanded that their captives kneel before them.  In recent years we’ve seen images of ISIS terrorists forcing Christians to kneel on a beach before they were beheaded.  In 2016, ten U.S. sailors were temporarily captured and forced to kneel before their Iranian captors.

Today we see police officers and politicians kneeling submissively at the demands of the mob.  Such subservience will not appease those seeking to conquer our nation; it only empowers them as they seek to force compliance to their agenda of undermining freedom and radically transforming America.

Make no mistake, our nation is under siege.   Now is not the time for bowing, but for standing.

Yet one day every knee will bow.  Not to a captor, but to Christ.  And every tongue that now demands obedience to the darkness of this age, will confess that He is Lord.

When Christ rules as gracious King and merciful Law all will be perfect! Read with joy the words to this old, glorious hymn:
