James O’Keefe of Project Veritas spoke at the Value Voters Summit this past October (watch his enlightening presentation here). With the help of hidden cameras, bragging evil-doers, and inside whistleblowers, he has shed the light of truth upon the far-reaching corruption that is ongoing within our government, social media, and news media, as they press an agenda that is couched in the evil silencing of right and truth while promoting falsehood and those who stand against righteousness.
Darkness is nothing more than the absence of light, for light and darkness cannot exist together. So, when the light of truth hits the darkness, cockroaches scurry for the dark recessed corners while larger enemies of light counter-attack with the only weapons they have—violence and deception or flat out lies.
Such is the case with James O’Keefe’s Project Veritas. Fighting for truth he is attacked with lawsuits and slander (forms of violence) and deception/lies. Many “news” sources would report that James O’Keefe was getting sued but none of them would print any follow-up stories about the verdicts in any of the lawsuits which found him innocent of wrong-doing. The retractions that are printed are most often buried on the back page although the vile lies are printed in headlines and easy to find stories. As Mr. O’Keefe stated in the above presentation, journalism is no longer “about the public’s right to know. It’s about, at best money, at worst, advocacy, propaganda; it’s toxic! … It’s 100% consistent with the First Amendment to investigate the press.”
As the old saying goes, “There are none so blind as those who will not see.” With Leftist politicians and the majority of the news outlets controlling the narrative, there are precious few today who believe the truth, even when it’s presented with time-stamped video and it makes sense of what is happening around us. Truth denied leads to ignorance. And if ignorance is bliss, we should be a nation of extremely happy people. But that’s the problem, isn’t it? Ignorance doesn’t make us happy; it only makes us ignorant, unaware, and unprepared for what happens when truth undeniably comes to light. There will always be a day of reckoning.
As I see truth rejected in order to accept what falls in line with personal feelings, it makes me wonder at times, “Why bother?” When people refuse to believe the truth so they can be comforted by a lie, it can be very frustrating.
Then I realize that not only is the time short and I have a responsibility to speak the truth, but the days are coming when it will be harder and harder to even discern what is truth (more on that shortly). Even beyond that, like the prophet Jeremiah, I couldn’t hold it in even if I wanted to. (“…But His word was in my heart like a burning fire shut up in my bones; I was weary of holding it back, And I could not.” Jer. 20:9) I’m no Jeremiah; but that accurately describes how I feel.
With 5G technology just around the corner; China forcing facial recognition to own a smart phone or surf the internet (USA has toyed with this since 2014 albeit to a lesser degree—article here); and the various apps available to the public that can make you look fat or skinny, young or old, smile or frown, enhance certain features or even change your gender; the lines of reality (truth) will one day be blurred to an almost undistinguishable degree. There are already apps available to the layman that can edit someone or something out of a picture or realistically place someone into a setting or situation in which they’ve never been. If these reality benders are available to the public, imagine what is being held by high-powered companies and governmental agencies to be used for their own ends and purposes, waiting for just the right moment to unleash something big upon an unsuspecting public.
Many Americans, and others around the globe are freely giving access and use of their face, pictures, and privacy to these apps, Google, and others without even thinking of the potential results.
Forbes published an article this past July entitled “Viral App FaceApp Now Owns Access To More Than 150 Million People's Faces And Names.” I strongly recommend you read this article, especially before using FaceAPP or the many “fun” change your look apps on FaceBook. The final paragraphs of this Forbes article are as follows:
“As former Rackspace manager Rob La Gesse mentioned today: “‘To make FaceApp actually work, you have to give it permissions to access your photos – ALL of them. But it also gains access to Siri and Search …. Oh, and it has access to refreshing in the background – so even when you are not using it, it is using you.’
“The app doesn't have to be doing anything nefarious today to make you cautious about giving it that much access to your most personal computing device.”
One day we will be like the mother who finds her little boy with his hand in the cookie jar when he sheepishly asks, “Mom, are you going to believe what you see or what I’m going to tell you,” followed by an unbelievable explanation. Will we believe our eyes or will we be able to discern the truth when the lines are blurred so badly?
With daily technological advances, political propaganda spoon fed to the masses by a willing and complicit media, and, as Romans chapter one warns, a nation who has long held “the truth in unrighteousness,” we are constantly allowing truth lines to be blurred. This brings the judgment of God and confusion to those people—this nation!
Yes, the time is short and that should add a sense of urgency to our responsibility.
We have a responsibility to cry out, pointing people to the truth and particularly to Jesus and the truth of His gospel. Remember, there is coming a day when, if it were possible, the very elect would be deceived. That will be a day when truth lines are blurred beyond most recognition.
Even when the lines of truth are blurred, we have THE Truth to hold on to and we have THE Standard to live righteously, to be holy as God is holy. We need to feel an urgency to raise our children in the stable truth of Jesus and His Word.
We have one main business, presenting Christ to our children and to the world—living this truth out before them; they’re watching!
I urge you to “Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness; And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace; Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked. And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God: Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints.” (Eph. 6:14-18)
The sword of Light is our weapon to fight against the darkness of our day; and its Author is our Authority! Go forth in boldness because in the end we win!

It takes finances to do this work, to continue exposing darkness and encouraging others on in holiness (wholeness).
