DO WE HAVE EYES TO SEE AND EARS TO HEAR?

By now a number of you have received our March newsletter.  It comes in a timely way.  Case in point:   “When the Unthinkable Becomes the Thinkable.”  https://americandecency.org/full_article.php?article_no=4182

Quoting from the above article:  “What has brought us to the point of murdering our own children AFTER they have been born? Why has the unthinkable and unimaginable become the thinkable and doable today? Why will America continue down an unimaginable and horror-filled future, barring the grace of God to turn us to repentance …”

 “Judeo-Christian teaching was never perfectly applied, but it did lay a foundation for a high view of human life in concept and practice. Knowing biblical values, people viewed human life as unique—to be protected and loved—because each individual is created in the image of God. …

“Why has our society changed? The answer is clear: The consensus of our society no longer rests on a Judeo-Christian base …

Here are my brief thoughts for this day.  Do you get what we are saying here?  Let me know.  And let me close with this.  Some of you are burdened over what you see happening.  The trends concern you as they concern us at ADA.

This article (below) digs deep and brings clarity:  WAKE UP!  We must hear, arise, and “shake the bushes” warning others.

For the right, the 2016 election was the Flight 93 election. And if you haven’t read that excellent essay, do go to the site and read it, but this excerpt should suffice to give you the gist of it:

2016 is the Flight 93 election: charge the cockpit or you die. You may die anyway. You—or the leader of your party—may make it into the cockpit and not know how to fly or land the plane. There are no guarantees.

Except one: if you don’t try, death is certain. To compound the metaphor: a Hillary Clinton presidency is Russian Roulette with a semi-auto. With Trump, at least you can spin the cylinder and take your chances.

Most of us didn’t vote for Trump because we wanted Trump the man in charge. We voted for him for the things he was saying: allowing our economy to function again and giving us functioning borders again, mostly.

For decades, regardless of the party nominally in power, our polity had been in the hands of those who at best thought America was uncouth and needed reform and at worst hated us and wanted to bring us low among the nations of the world. Open borders, ever multiplying regulations that stopped our economy cold and sent jobs overseas, destructive welfare policies that actively made it punitive to stay together as a family. It goes on.

LASTLY: 

With the speed in which drastic political changes are taking place and the implications which they bring, it’s very important to have eyes that see deeper than the political veneer that is often presented to us. It’s important to have ears that are tuned into those who present the truth regardless the cost to themselves. Again, I ask you, do you get what we are saying? Please share your views with us.
