Communism Screams

What awaits our beloved America if her Constitution is destroyed and the red (Communism) and/or green (Islam) axis rules? Whittaker Chambers describes the horrifying screams from those citizens whose nation has embraced Communism (taken from his book WITNESS):

“What Communist has not heard those screams? They come from husbands torn forever from their wives in midnight arrests. They come, muffled, from the execution cellars of the secret police, from the torture chambers of the Lubianka, from all the citadels of terror now stretching from Berlin to Canton. They come from those freight cars loaded with men, women and children, the enemies of the Communist State, locked in, packed in, left on remote sidings to freeze to death at night in the Russian winter. They come from minds driven mad by the horrors of mass starvation ordered and enforced as a policy of the Communist state. They come from the starved skeletons, worked to death, or flogged to death (as an example to others) in the freezing filth of sub-arctic labor camps. They come from children whose parents are suddenly, inexplicably, taken away from them—parents they will never see again.”

What’s that; I’m an alarmist you say?  Might I point you to Germany from years ago, Venezuela today, and a host of other countries where “that could never happen”? Having only known liberty and freedom, it’s very hard for native born Americans to fathom the above ever happening here; but others, throughout time, never imagined that they would find themselves in the horrendous stranglehold of Communism, squeezing the life out of their families, churches, and their nation. What starts off softly and quietly takes a stronger, bolder, and more tenacious grip. Communism’s camel has slipped its nose under the tent of our culture, educational system, and government today; before long (unless it is stopped) it will take over America’s tent of liberty. The threat is very real; the dangers are manifold. As Whittaker Chambers continues:

“What Communist has not heard those screams? Execution, says the Communist code, is the highest measure of social protection. What man can call himself a Communist who has not accepted the fact that Terror is an instrument of policy, right if the vision is right, justified by history, enjoined by the balance of forces in the social wars of this century? Those screams have reached every Communist’s mind. Usually they stop there. What judge willingly dwells upon the man the laws compel him to condemn to death—the laws of nations or the laws of history?

“But one day the Communist really hears those screams.”

The dangers are close at hand; this is why we are bringing Rafael Cruz, Sen. Ted Cruz’s father, to the American Decency Headquarters on Friday, June 7 at 7 PM. He has been a lifetime lover of liberty from both sides of freedom! He has seen the ugly side where freedom is squelched (in Cuba) and has loved the beautiful side of liberty where it and its people have flourished. He has heard the cries and screams of Communism as well as the shouts and laughter of free men, women, and children under the protection of liberty.

Having been on both sides of liberty Rafael Cruz has the unique perspective of recognizing where we have come from as a nation, where we are today, and to where we are going. Unless “we the people” move from the path upon which we have been willingly and blindly led to and get back on the road to freedom which our forefathers started us on, communism will be our plight and its screams will be in our ears and in the ears of our children.

This is why Bill Johnson and we here at the American Decency Association urge you to come and bring others with you.This is an important message for such a time as this. Come recognize the pivotal position in which we find ourselves and hear the call to action. This message is so important for our children and young adults to hear—DO YOUR BEST TO BRING THEM! Some who come will be moved to go, stir, and educate; while others may become active on other fronts and in other ways. Who knows where the Spirit may lead?
