A recent California law “Allows 12-Year-Olds To Get Tax-Paid Transgender Treatments.” That’s right; in California one can get your driver’s license at 16 years-old; at 18 one can acquire a rifle, engage in consensual sex, or get married without parental approval, and once you reach the age of 21 you can buy a handgun, alcohol, or marijuana. But one only needs to live to the ripe old age of 12 in order to decide for themselves if they would like the citizens of California to pay for a gamut of transgender treatments without parental consent or knowledge.
Really? Twelve year olds can’t even decide what or who they like long-term let alone decide which gender will fit them best. On top of that, there is a study from a Brown University professor which shows that: “‘Rapid-onset gender dysphoria among teens and young adults may be a social contagion linked with having friends who identify as LGBT, and identity politics peer culture, and an increase in internet use.” (I urge you to read this article at thefederalist.com)
Even though this study comes from a prestigious university, “after a transgender activist feeding frenzy,” they are reconsidering its publication. As is often the case, many of the facts are hidden away in a seditious manner regarding the LGBTQ+ agenda. In Mass Resistance’s book The Health Hazards of Homosexuality, there are many well-documented studies that come from both sides of the LGBTQ+ divide; all of them showing the physical and psychological dangers to those who participate in this alphabet soup lifestyle. Still, those who are deceived are not warned by the facts but rather comforted by the lies that are told to them about their feelings and their rights.
In lieu of the facts, those who push this agenda want people to believe that if “these poor souls were only accepted they would be okay.” This is not a fact either. For that matter, “the largest and most rigorous study to examine the rates of suicide for adults following their medical gender transition was conducted in Sweden, an LGBT-affirming country. The study followed participants for 30 years after their transition and found that the suicide rate was 19 times higher among transgender adults than among the non-transgender population.”
When culture, society, the media, Hollywood, parents, and schools attempt to pry children out of their God-appointed gender roles and bend them into an opposite gender-dysphoria mold, something is going to break! Too often that something is a someone—the precious and malleable child/teen. Although children are malleable, they are also resilient; and in this case, their gender is God-ordained and predetermined, so the natural inclination is to spring back to who their DNA says they really are. This causes much confusion and mental unrest in those children who are being “pushed” into a pseudo-mold. This might account for the fact that “transgender teens attempt suicide more frequently than adolescents generally.” (Daily Signal)
There’s a growing number of statistics which warn of gender dysphoria’s danger and an increasing number of studies that show it to be, in most cases, temporary; and in other cases, it affects the stability of one’s mental status. Even so, parents, schools, and proponents of the LGBTQ community continue to push, press, and publicize their right to push gender dysphoria on others.
Even at the youngest ages public schools are spending money on books which attempt to normalize this perversion and some libraries allow “drag queens” to come in and read to the children for story time. Innocuous story time becomes nefarious indoctrination when the drag queen reads a story about a crayon believing it’s red because it’s labeled that way, only to find out that he’s really blue. The reader told these children and parents, “Sometimes the person on the inside doesn’t feel like it matches the person on the outside, and you just gotta keep coloring until you figure it out.”
Parents are encouraged and sometimes pressured to “help” their child/teen to “transition” into their chosen gender regardless their biological sex. This can result in scores of “children needlessly sterilized, placed on toxic cross-sex hormones, and maimed by a double mastectomy as young as the age of 13, and potentially giving other mutilating surgeries—none of which have been proven to prevent suicide in the long term.” (Daily Signal)
Instead of helping their children, these misguided—albeit well-meaning—parents are helping their children to an increased suicide rate! (This study provided the following percentages of those attempting suicide)
· Adolescent girls who identified as male: 50.8%
· Adolescents who identified as nonbinary (identifies with neither sex): 41.8%
· Adolescent males who identified as female: 29.9%
· Those who were questioning their gender: 27.9%
· Girls without gender dysphoria: 17.6%
· Boys without gender dysphoria: 9.8%
More and more, scientific research confirms what students of God’s Word already knew: God made men and He made women; they are to work in a complementary manner for the good of the family, the church, and for mankind. When we go against God’s order and design, we hurt ourselves. In so doing, we hurt those around us as well.
Telling the truth about the dangers associated with gender dysphoria is only part of the battle. The time of truthful battle is late; parents must actively find out what their children are being taught in the public schools. Parents, grandparents, and concerned citizens, we need to address the schools and libraries about the programs they are implementing and the dangers they are to our children and our communities. If your heart is not broken over such brokenness, pray to the God of heaven that your heart will break and your eyes will weep. The devil has taken so many captive and continues to deceive and hurt our children, teens, young adults, and families, thereby moving this nation to the brink of destruction. We must pray for wisdom, discernment, and compassion for ourselves. Then we must pray for those who are being deceived and are caught up in self-torture and self- mutilation; pray that they will come to know the grace which God has made available through His only begotten Son, Jesus, for that is life eternal.
