Don’t miss out; mark your calendar for March 16 (2 weeks from this Friday). Join us at the American Decency building (203 E. Main St. Fremont, MI) for either the 1 PM or the 7 PM showing of the American Family Association’s free film The God Who Speaks.

Often we warn, exhort, stir, and encourage about various topics; this time we do so about the authenticity and authority of the Bible. The Bible is the reason why the American Decency Association does what we do; so we are very excited to offer you this opportunity to hear highly regarded men of God teach on the authority of Scripture.

With so many battles raging around us, it’s vital that we are anchored to the Truth or we will be tossed to and fro by every wind of doctrine. Our ears must be attuned to God; He speaks to us through His Word. He is The God Who Speaks. As Pastor Kevin DeYoung states in this 90 minute documentary, “For God to speak is for God to engage in self-revelation. We only know God because God has condescended to speak to us. One of the first things we say about God is that He is a speaking God. We would not know Him except He speaks to us.”

God says what He means and means what He says. Yet there are many today who deny that God is speaking to us through His inerrant, infallible Word, the Bible. This documentary brings several well-loved speakers together, like Alistair Begg, R.C. Sproul, Al Mohler, Josh McDowell, Erwin Lutzer, Conrad Mbewe, and many, many others, for the purpose of bringing clarity to this important topic. Because Satan has muddled up the church’s high view of Scripture with his deception and denial of the authority of God’s Word, we are in desperate need of the kind of teaching this film brings.

As the church has deviated from the Bible, we have seen the destruction that deviation has caused both in the church and in our society. There will be no hope for the United States outside our hope and faith in Jesus. And as Paul tells us in Romans 10:17 “…Faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.”

Whether you love the Bible, are mildly interested about it, or are even dubious about it, we urge you to join uson March 16 at either the 1 PM or the 7 PM showing and we also encourage you to bring a friend. This is a great opportunity to learn, spark discussion, or to be encouraged in the Scriptures. Lord willing, we will see you on that Friday!

Why do we spend so much money on locks and security systems to guard our temporal blessings, yet leave the eyes/minds of those we love unguarded or to their own protection? Regardless of how busy you may be, DO NOT miss out on this important event to help train you and your children regarding internet use. Become an active line of defense in protecting them.

Join us on March 23 at 7 PM at the American Decency building (203 E. Main St, Fremont, Michigan. The group is called Protect Young Eyes and they do a most excellent job!

*** JOIN THE NATION IN PRAYER ***

Why is the church joining in prayer across the nation? The state of California has enacted legislation forcing pro-life Pregnancy Resource Centers to promote abortion. The case is going to the Supreme Court (SCOTUS) and will be heard on March 20.  We have been encouraged (and are encouraging you) to join with hundreds of thousands of Christians across the nation as we pray for God’s intervention. This 24-hour prayer vigil will take place from 9:00 AM March 9^th – 9:00 AM March 10^th at Insight Pregnancy Services (formerly known as Alpha Family Center) in Newaygo.
