March for Life 2018: Make Your Voices Heard!

By: American Decency Staff

Beloved children’s author, Dr. Seuss may have written one of the greatest pro-life mottos ever, albeit accidentally, in his well known book, “Horton Hears a Who.” I think most of us have read it or maybe even had it read to us, “A person’s a person, no matter how small.”

That’s the foundation of the anti-abortion cause!

I don’t know how well you remember Horton’s story, but here’s a quick recap: the elephant Horton finds a dust speck with a whole world of little people called “Whos” on it that only he can hear because of his big elephant ears. His friends hear him talking to the speck, assume he’s crazy, and try to destroy the speck so that his craziness doesn’t spread, and it’s only whenevery last Who shouts at the top of their lungs that the other jungle animals hear them and spare them from being boiled alive!

So, what does all of this have to do with the pro-life movement?

This Saturday is the annual Newaygo County March for Life, a chance for pro-life Americans to come together and make a loud enough noise that maybe those with the power to change things and save millions of future lives will hear!

Come, take part in our community’s March for Life – sponsored by Newaygo County Right to Life – and send the message, “A person’s a person, no matter how small!”

The March for Life starts here at the American Decency Association on Saturday at Noon and will be followed by refreshments and a short video and presentation.
