The rain is clearing out and we are ready to gather in prayer! Will you join us?
Today is the National Day of Prayer, calling on Christians throughout the country to stand united in prayer – an opportunity to seek the moving of God’s hand within the United States of America.
It’s an event which pulls many eyes to 2 Chronicles 7:14, “If my people who are called by my name humble themselves, and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and heal their land.”
What an opportunity to rethink what it means to "humble ourselves" – repent of our own sins, admit that we are powerless to stem the tide of evil in our country, even recognize that we have been part of the problem, and ask God to bring healing and awakening to our nation.
Join with us and other fellow believers at noon today, May 3, in simple faith-filled prayer for our nation. We will gather at the Fremont Veterans Memorial Park band shell at 12:00 PM to turn to God and seek His face.
We could do other things for 45 minutes today. Is there anything more important? Come, be a part.
