The Bible teaches that our children will be our greatest blessing or they will be our greatest hurt and pain. What’s the deciding factor? Do they live according to the Word of God or do they reject His truth and go after their own way. Recognizing the importance of training up a child in the way they should go, why do we leave their impressionable minds, their vulnerable bodies, and their all important souls to the hands of a government that desires to manipulate them through social engineering, promoting its agenda to the overthrowing of the Constitution and turning this country of freedom and Gospel-evangelism into a Marxist-type state?
Great “gains” have been made for the communist/socialist agenda as many of the 45 communist goals listed in The Naked Communist, written by W. Cleon Skousen and published back in 1958, have been put in place; several through the indoctrinating manipulation of public school students.
Through the propagandizing of false history with an over-emphasis on our nation’s weaknesses and a minimizing of its strengths, while glorifying dictatorial mass-murders and vilifying men who fought for right, and by not teaching our nation’s Constitution and explaining the rights, benefits, and protections it offers, our educators have raised several generations which now love socialism and hate capitalism even though they can’t describe either one.
It would do well for parents and grandparents to show their progeny some video footage of Venezuela and/or explain the meaning behind President Trump’s statement, “The problem…is not that socialism has been poorly implemented but that socialism has been faithfully implemented. … From the Soviet Union to Cuba to Venezuela, wherever true socialism or communism has been adopted, it has delivered anguish and devastation and failure.”
Through the removal of prayer, the Bible, and teaching of other (false) religions, and through the unconstitutional teaching of the separation of church and state, many other “weeds” have grown up, all denying the fear of the Lord.
Other of these goals was to attack the family, morals, and the church.Through governmental policy and educators pushing the LGBT agenda; and by indoctrinating the youngest of our children through media, while the government ignores its own indecency laws, our children are being taken down a dangerous path of confusion and physical/mental/spiritual health concerns.
Alex Newman recently wrote an article entitled Study Proves LGBT Indoctrination at School is Working. He opens it with this statement: “The number of American children identifying as lesbian, homosexual, bisexual, or confused is surging across the nation, according to a newly released study by the U.S. Centers for Disease Control. The trend comes as government schools push homosexuality and gender confusion more aggressively and at earlier ages all over the country.”
It’s a short article and I would encourage you to read it. But think about this for a minute. Our schools, our government, and many politicians are trying to say that the LGBT agenda is good for our children and attempt to educate them to its normalcy and acceptability. And who has conducted this study? The U.S. Centers for Disease Control! That in itself should make anyone think twice.
It’s no secret that there are inherent dangers—physically, psychologically, spiritually—to these lifestyle choices; yet no one wants to talk about it. Those who do get shouted down like Lot did, “Who made you to be a judge over us!” It may be uncomfortable but we need to be declaring the truth loud and clear. Who has our children’s best interest at heart—those who are pushing an agenda or those who will warn about the body, mind, and soul?
Living daily in a land where black and white has given way to gray, due to the rise of moral relativism over absolute truth, we occasionally find ourselves questioning the validity of our strong stance on many issues. It’s easy to get swept up in the emotional aspects of a situation; or we’re left wondering if we really are right, considering the overwhelming numbers on the other side of an issue. Add to that, most people don’t like confrontation so they remain silent; or at times, are left unsure in their moral, cultural, and spiritual conclusions.
What are we to do in these times of gray and questioning? Keep J.C. Ryle’s excellent advice before you: “The Bible is the true lantern for a dark and cloudy time. Let us beware of traveling without its Light.”
When we are tempted to be silent on a situation let us consider, “What does the Bible say about that?” Then with boldness and love, let us proclaim the truth. Parents and grandparents, it’s imperative that you speak truth into the lives of your loved-ones; they have been indoctrinated with worldliness, conditional truths and values, and a false sense of our history. These things are leading our nation and its young people down a road to destruction. With sureness, pray for them and point them in the right direction.
Perhaps some parents and grandparents have been led by emotions rather than truth, I urge you to recognize the importance of being in the Word of God daily and often. Educate yourself on the issues from a Biblical worldview and be an example, stirring up others to know the truth as well.
May God’s Light shine through us so that we too might be a light for dark times.
