9/11: But what can I do?

A lot of water has gone over the dam since 9-11 (2001) for you and me.

Looking back I can see that it wasn’t until eleven years later (2012) that I really began to grasp the import of what this attack upon America was about.

There are many reasons why it took so long for me to begin to get it.  So many still have no clue that we are in a war and that the enemy still remains undefined/unnamed.  And, it doesn’t go far enough just to reference it as a “terrorist incident.”

So what awakened me back in 2012?

My wife Jan and I were in Washington, DC at the Values Voter Summit sponsored by the Family Research Council, AFA Action, the Liberty Counsel and several others.

We went to a breakout session featuring Frank Gaffney, President and Founder of the Center for Security Policy, who we weren’t familiar with at the time.  We wanted to know more about the subject:  Shariah: The Threat to America.  The auditorium was standing room only.  

Our eyes were opened to new realities.

Gaffney showed how our U.S. Government had been infiltrated by the Muslim Brotherhood and that President George W. Bush was complicit; opening the door for the infiltration to take place.  I name President Bush.  I realize that shocks many who remember how he impressed so many by his caring immediately following the attack.  However, many forget that days following, President George W. Bush stated that Islam is a Religion of Peace. Bush “gave away the ship”.   Gaffney provides names and faces (see my wrap-up at the end of this email.)

So-called random terrorist attacks occur and are passed over as not connected to any terrorist group, failing to name the enemy: Hamas, the Muslim Brotherhood, …  

Cars and trucks used as weapons running over people orchestrated by the Muslim Brotherhood, (2) wanton stabbings, (3) even a beheading, (4) soldiers fired upon (Maj. Ninal Malak Hasan) and 13 killed and 32 wounded in a 2009 shooting rampage at Fort Hood, Texas, the worst mass murder at a military installation in U.S. history; (5) the April 15, 2013 Boston Marathon bombing where two pressure cooker bombs went off near the finish line killing three spectators and wounding hundreds of others (perpetrator – Tsarnaev brothers). Investigators concluded (get this) that the Tsarnaevs were not connected to any terrorist groups; (6) San Bernadino, December 2, 2015: 14 killed and 22 seriously injured at a Christmas party; a terrorist attack consisting of a mass shooting and attempting bombing (Perpetrators – Syed Rizwan Farook and his wife Tashfeen Malik both of Pakistani descent – “they say” not connected to any terrorist groups).  (7) Orlando: 2016:  Fifty people are dead in the worst mass shooting – at that time – in U.S. history. Gunman Omar Mateen opened fire at gay nightclub Pulse.  Described as a “terrorism incident.”

If you have been in prayer and in tears this morning, that is so good for you and me.

But what can we do? 

I just hope that you will do what Jan and I did as we took to heart the reality that there is something really bad going on out there, the likes of which we have never seen before in our lifetimes.

Being busy people like so many of you, we sought to get a handle on what is going on with this Muslim Brotherhood, Shariah, Islam …

We had heard that Gaffney had a very informative, balanced instructional website.  We went to it and followed it through from the beginning to the end.

It isn’t enough just to wait around and have our country become like Germany, the United Kingdom and France, Sweden. These countries have ignored the war against them.  There is a well laid plan unfolding against them, and their leaders (like ours) have not  protected them.

They have failed to identify the Muslim Brotherhood, Hamas, Hezbollah, Islam as the enemy.
Remember there was a time not long ago when Islam and Shariah had made little to no impact in America.  That is no longer the case because we have turned a blind eye to the threat of Islam.
