President Trump to announce Supreme Court nominee tonight at 8:00 PM.

Millions will be watching as President Trump names his nominee to fill the vacancy left by former Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia (1936-2016).

Virtually everyone expects this process to be highly contentious and likely will turn very ugly before it is over.

As most of you reading this are aware by now there are behind the scenes activists trained,  and,  in some cases,  paid to keep the opposition vocal, visual and heated – making it appear as though the opposition is the majority voice even though it is not.   These efforts are designed to elicit increasing numbers of sympathetic voices and make their voice the majority.

Boy Scouts bring further degradation to the once proud tradition of the Boy Scouts of America.

The Boy Scouts of America says it will allow transgender children who identify as boys to enroll it its boys-only programs.

Parents and grandparents seeking an alternative to the once highly regarded Boy Scouts of America should consider Trail Life, USA. Its founder is John Stemberger.  Stemberger is an Eagle Scout, a former Scoutmaster, and a Vigil Honor member of the Order of the Arrow. He was the founder of On My Honor movement and became the Chairman of the Board for Trail Life USA in 2013.

“Fifty Shades of Grey” making its return in a part 2 (“Fifty Shades Darker”) version opening in theaters right before Valentine’s Day as it did two years ago.

Matt Walsh described Fifty Shades of Grey as a vessel filled with leather whips … but empty besides that. It’s not art, and anyone who pays to see it is degrading themselves – and I’m not even talking about the bondage and the glamorized rape yet.
Two people have stated that Walmart and Meijer (not confirmed) are promoting and selling  “Fifty Shades of Grey” in their outlets.  http://www.theblaze.com/contributions/if-youre-a-fan-of-fifty-shades-of-grey-please-seek-counseling

Your voice –  where you shop –  makes a difference.  This is a time to roll back this degrading material to keep this material becoming normalized at our family friendly outlets and damaging untold numbers of unsuspecting victims.  If you see this harmful material in your local shopping outlet, speak to a manager.

When head coaches use their high profile positions to try to influence anyone who will listen

Detroit Piston’s head coach Stan VanGundy fits this profile as he frequently uses his position to push a Leftist agenda.   Are there any Detroit Piston fans out there?  Coach VanGundy and the team owner Tom Gores need to hear from you.  Encourage them to just stick with what they are paid to do – present a decent, well-coached, well-managed basketball team that is competitive and represents the city and state well as professionals. .

Coach VanGundy seems oblivious to the fact that amidst his team’s fan base might just be a large number of fans who are pro-life, pro-borders, supporters of the Constitution.

Last April Van Gundy supported the NBA boycott of North Carolina due to the North Carolina bathroom law which indicated that persons were required to use the public bathrooms in government buildings that coincided with their birth certificate.  Van Gundy labeled this commonsense law which protected the privacy and safety of citizens as “discrimination” because it prevented men who identify as transgender from using women’s restrooms.

He stated:  “We went through this before: People had their rationale for discriminating against blacks back during segregation. I don’t care — religious liberty and all of that. Look, that’s the same stuff that people brought up during the civil rights movement. They’ll try to justify it with anything they have.

Here are a few quotes from the Detroit Free Press:

Detroit Piston’s head coach Stan VanGundy stated the following the day after the election of Donald Trump (November 9):  but I don’t think anybody can deny this guy is openly and brazenly racist and misogynistic and ethnic-centric, and say, ‘That’s OK with us, we’re going to vote for him anyway.’ …

“And then you read how he was embraced by conservative Christians. Evangelical Christians. I’m not a religious guy, but what the hell Bible are they reading? I’m dead serious. What Bible are you reading? And you’re supposed to be — it’s different. There are a lot of different groups we can be upset at. But you’re Christians. You’re supposed to be — at least you pride yourself on being the moral compass of our society. And you said, ‘Yeah, the guy can talk about women like that. I’m fine with that.’ He can disparage every ethnic group, and I’m fine with that.  http://ftw.usatoday.com/2016/11/stan-van-gundy-brazenly-racist-donald-trump-nba

And , then, yesterday (January 30, 2017) again quoting from the Detroit Free Press:

While avoiding the passionate tone of his rant the day after Trump’s stunning election victory in November, Van Gundy rebuked the executive order that sparked demonstrations across the country over the weekend.

“It’s starting to get into really, really scary stuff now,” Van Gundy told reporters this morning at the Equinox Sports Club after the walkthrough to prepare for the Boston Celtics game.

“We’re getting into the days of now we’re judging people by their religion, trying to keep Muslims out. … None of those seven nations have been responsible for an American death, but we’re barring everybody. It’s just playing to people’s fears and prejudices and everything else, and we’re getting back to the days of putting the Japanese in relocation camps and Hitler registering the Jews. That’s where we’re headed, and it’s just fear-mongering and playing to a certain base of people that have some built-in prejudices that aren’t fair. …
