It was Mark Twain who quipped, “The reports of my death are greatly exaggerated.” Be warned, any time you hear a report that Communism is dead, don't believe it! Likewise, if you hear that communism isn’t a threat to America, do NOT believe it!

Communism has been and is infiltrating our government at an alarming rate. It has bought and paid for senators and representatives who are indebted to the communist party and its way of thinking. They have been representing the interests of communism more than your or my interests. These public “self-servants” are certainly not acting in the best interest of our nation or its longevity. Communism IS a threat to America; and it’s growing because we have sat back and enjoyed the bait in its trap, ignoring the deadly consequences of a trap sprung.

Trevor Loudon has spent much time, energy, and money investigating and reporting on these dangers to our freedom and our Constitutional Republic. The goals laid down by communists to overtake America, reported by W. Cleon Skousen in 1958, in the book “The Naked Communist,” have been republished, along with each goal’s progress, in “The Naked Truth”, written by James C. Bowers (recommended reading). 

Let’s look at just a few of these:

#15. Capture one or both of the political parties in the U.S.:  “‘Enemies Within’ zooms in on the best-kept secret of modern politics. Almost no one is aware of the fact that fewer than 20,000 U.S. communists, socialists and extreme ‘progressives’ are able to influence the politicians and even write the laws that control the lives of over 300 million Americans…

While these enemies of America and their Islamic allies grow bolder and more aggressive, the Democratic Party is wrecking both the U.S. military and the economic prosperity needed to sustain it.” (From the DVD back cover of Enemies Within)—Come, hear and discuss these issues with Trevor Loudon on March 18 at 7 PM.

Skousen listed 45 goals in all, here we will list only a few more—without commentary—the papers are rife with examples, showing how the communists are steadily meeting their goals.

#16. Use technical decisions of the courts to weaken basic American institutions, by claiming their activities violate civil rights.

#17. Get control of the schools. Use them as transmission belts for Socialism and current Communist propaganda. Soften the curriculum. Get control of teachers associations. Put the party line in textbooks.

#22. Continue discrediting American culture by degrading all forms of artistic expression. An American Communist cell was told to "eliminate all good sculpture from parks and buildings," substituting shapeless, awkward and meaningless forms.”

#24. Eliminate all laws governing obscenity by calling them "censorship" and a violation of free speech and free press

#25. Break down cultural standards of morality by promoting pornography and obscenity in books, magazines, motion pictures, radio and TV.

#26. Present homosexuality, degeneracy and promiscuity as "normal, natural and healthy."

#27. Discredit the American Constitution by calling it inadequate, old fashioned, out of step with modern needs, a hindrance to cooperation between nations on a worldwide basis.

#30. Discredit the American founding fathers. Present them as selfish aristocrats who had no concern for the "common man."

#40. Discredit the family as an institution. Encourage promiscuity and easy divorce.

#42. Create the impression that violence and insurrection are legitimate aspects of the American tradition; that students and special interest groups should rise up and make a "united force" to solve economic, political or social problems.

Reading through these listed communist goals, surely one can easily recognized that these have become a reality. Looking upon the new “reality,” it’s easy to see that these things have wreaked havoc with our very foundations.  Can we turn around? Only by becoming aware of what is happening and taking steps to reverse our course—even then, only by the grace and mercy of God.
