As you know, we took a year off from host­ing a summer conference as we’ve done at the end of July for the past few summers. Well, we are excited to now invite you to our fall conference, featuring two dear friends of our ministry who are formidable experts in their fields.

Christian school administrator, college professor, pastor, and author, Dr. Norm De Jong joins with ex-terrorist-turned- Christian Kamal Saleem to head a confer­ence in West Michigan at two locations on Friday evening, October 13 in Fremont, MI and on Saturday morning, October 14 in Grand Rapids, MI.

Dr. De Jong’s career in education included teaching and administrative positions in Christian schools in Minnesota, Montana, Michigan, California, and New Jersey. His influence was even more far-reaching, however, at the college level where his 20 years as a professor impacted future teach­ers – at Dordt College and Trinity Christian College. The Dordt years also saw publica­tion of his first book of many, “Education in the Truth.” His contributions greatly en­couraged the Christian School movement in the United States.

Dr. De Jong will be speaking, in part, on his new book, entitled, “The Cross and the Double-Edged Sword.”

As Dr. De Jong writes: “The primary rea­son I invested in The Cross & the Double- Edged Sword is because of the deep con­cerns I have for the church today. I am deeply concerned by what I call internal threats, but also external threats, one of the most terrifying is Islam.”

An example given in Dr. De Jong’s book.contrasts how ISIS guards the name of Allah with the abysmal failure of Christians to guard the precious treasure and the exclusivity of Jesus Christ.

It is a timely book for Christian lives today which are too often marked by lethargic, dutiful worship as opposed to worship that truly glorifies Our God and King.

Our other speaker is Kamal Saleem who heads Koome Ministries.

Kamal is a former terrorist who became a Christian after coming to the United States to prepare to commit acts of terror.

Kamal has spoken for us a number of times. On top of his own speaking schedule, Ka­mal is regularly joined behind podiums and in front of cameras by General Jerry Boykin (Retired), one of the most decorated sol­diers of our day and the Vice-President of the regarded Family Research Council.

He will be speaking on the subject of “The Exclusivity of Jesus Christ and Interfaith Dialogue,” bringing out the danger of the “Interfaith Dialogue” propagated by the Muslim Brotherhood, which can turn into an unholy blending of these mutually ex­clusive religions dubbed, “Chrislam”.

Kamal is a vibrant speaker with a passion for God and the truth. Having been raised in Islam and steeped in “radicalized Islam,” Kamal really knows what he is talking about when he points out the lies, half-truths, and deceptions of the “Interfaith Dialogue” movement. He’s joining us to warn, exhort, and to lift up and proclaim the exclusivity and name of Jesus Christ.
