Kamal replaced by Johnson as speaker

By: American Decency Staff

I was moments away from starting to write the portion of our upcoming October newsletter promoting our upcoming conference, when my cell phone rang.  It was from Kamal Saleem.

Kamal said:  “Brother Bill I have some bad news for you.”

He had just discovered there was a conflict between our October speaking engagements with him (October 13 & 14) and those of the Values Voter Summit in Washington, DC.  Kamal was scheduled to be speaking on the platform with Frank Gaffney and General Jerry Boykin.

Kamal said “Brother Bill. I told them I could not break my promise to you.  The General said, ‘Kamal you need to be with us here in DC. Many are needing to hear you.’”

I agree with the general and have released Kamal, giving him our blessing.

He asked:  “What are you going to do, brother Bill?”

There are a lot of “Come What Mays” in our lives, aren’t there?  What is God doing?  What is His will? What is He trying to teach me?

So it goes, dear friends.  We send our regrets for those of you who were specifically planning to come and hear Kamal.

Seeking to replace Kamal with another warrior, I called Philip Haney, author of “See Something Say Nothing.” He was not available until November.

I sought the Lord’s will throughout the following evening and early the next morning and continually got the sense that it is meant to be me.

My message will include a power point revealing the core of the heart calling God has laid upon me in regard to these days of societal degradation and decline.

“The Sword of the Lord and of Gideon” is the projected title.

I am, of course, honored to share the podium with our highly regarded speaker, Dr. Norm De Jong.

The following is an outline for Pastor Norm De Jong, our featured speaker for the events.
