A Community On Its Knees Knowing Its Need

By: American Decency Staff

When a government and its nation’s society presses upon the people of God to go against their consciences and convictions, the words of Abraham Kuyper should resound in our ears: “When principles that run against your deepest convictions begin to win the day, then battle is your calling, and peace has become sin; you must, at the price of the dearest peace, lay your convictions bare before friend and enemy, with all the fire of your faith.

We are called to be a people of prayer, focusing upon our need of God’s intervention, His strength, and His guidance.

Join with for the National Day of Prayer—Thursday, May 4, 2017—at the Veterans Memorial Park in Fremont at noon.

We will gather at Veterans Park for a time of prayer led by Rev. Ron Workman and a brief meditation will be offered by nationally-noted speaker and filmmaker Curtis Bowers. We are pleased to have these men with us, as well as the Bowers family for a time of singing.

BUT THAT’S ONLY THE BEGINNING…

The very next eveningFriday, May 5, at 7:00 PM (at American Decency headquarters; 203 E. Main St., Fremont, MI) Curtis Bowers will be speaking about the political, moral, and spiritual dangers our country is facing – and what our response as Christians should be.

Curtis Bowers, recognizing the assault upon Biblical values, religious freedom and marriage, took to the highways of America last year – going from community to community sharing his powerful second movie production, Agenda 2:  Masters of Deceit.

Being burdened over the spiritual warfare facing America, the Bowers family took their movie, gift of speaking, and music ministry to state after state right up and through the election doing their part to call citizens to discern the difference between truth and lies.

We at ADA do anticipate a packed house on Friday night as Curtis addresses issues of national concern and fields questions regarding family and spiritual issues of our day.  All of these and the added blessing brought by the Bowers' family ministry in music!

If at all possible, we encourage you to squeeze time out of your busy schedule to be both challenged and inspired. Join us at the American Decency building THIS Friday—May 5—at 7:00 PM. Bring some friends; don’t miss out on this time of worship, learning, and fellowship.
