See Something Say Something!

Like a whirlwind of grace, God blessed the American Decency Association (ADA) with an amazing opportunity. When we heard that Philip Haney—a founding official of the Department of Homeland Security and author of See Something Say Nothing—would be coming to Michigan, we asked if he’d be willing to stop in Fremont for a short public discussion and private interview.  It wasn’t until two days prior to this event that things were confirmed; but what a blessed time as we gathered around the breakfast table for some deeply spiritual conversation, interviewed this godly man, and finally sat “spellbound” during his public presentation.

If you’re not familiar with whom Phil Haney is, let me give you a brief introduction to this amazing Christian warrior. During his time at DHS, Mr. Haney saw leaders of Muslim Brotherhood front groups invited into the highest chambers of power and given access to sensitive information to allow them to shape the nation’s security policy. When he saw something and said something, some of his bosses—all the way up to the White House—responded not with gratefulness but with orders to sanitize or eliminate the information and launch investigations against him instead of the documented threats to the nation’s security.

He was one of our country’s leading counter-terrorism officers and has chronicled many of these experiences in a brand new book called See Something, Say Nothing: A Homeland Security Officer Exposes the Government’s Submission to Jihad. We were so blessed to have this Spirit-led man of God speak out about these perilous times and our government’s willful blindness and their attacks against truth.

Surprisingly, the first thing Phil Haney did was to start playing his guitar and singing a song about the Holy Spirit.

He then opened his presentation by discussing his life as an entomologist (one who studies insects), how he’d observe behavior patterns, and the necessity of giving great attention to detail. By the grace of God, Phil was able to apply these same concepts to people, particularly Muslims and those radical Islamic jihadists that wish to do our nation harm. Taking his entomology skills and making them Department of Homeland Security (DHS) skills, he followed the people, their trails, and observed their behaviors. Oddly, when the government was warned about these behaviors and groups of people, when Mr. Haney would “connect the dots” for the government, they ignored the dangers and actually went after him rather than those who were a threat to our nation’s safety and security.

“The ants have a sense of community;” Haney said, people groups have the same sense of community, particularly global Islam. The goal of this global Islamic community is to bring Sharia Law everywhere, including the United States of America, as the dominant over-riding legal force of all people.

He’s been both investigated nine times and also been given recognition nine times for the work he has done, once receiving recognition and being investigated for the same information. He also shared how the Department of Justice tried to indict him on criminal charges for doing his job.

In both Mr. Haney’s speech and his book, it’s clear that this current administration is working with the forces of Islam, and their front groups, to alter or abolish the United States Constitution. They desire to change our nation and have been silencing the truth in order to bring about this change.

Mr. Haney shared about the Boston Marathon bombing and San Bernardino.  In order to hear the description of what happened, the intrigue, the moral dilemma, and the “third bomb” of the Boston Marathon bombing that sent out invisible shrapnel that is still hitting Americans today with current and future consequences hanging in the balances, purchase the CD of this event or watch it on our website in the days ahead.

Had the case not been closed, many lives could have been saved by preventing these two Islamic terrorist attacks. If only they’d have been allowed to do their jobs…

We learned that, on one hand, DHS had stopped 1,200 potential terrorists from entering the country; yet on the other hand, these foreign would-be infiltrators were also encouraged to sue the federal government for discrimination.

He referred to the “Great Purge,” where anything discriminatory against Islam was taken out of the standards of investigating and questioning potential terrorists and terrorist activity, but nothing was put back into these safety standards. We were also told about the deleting of investigative information and how that should never happen, since the smallest thing may be the clue one needs to solve a case.

This man is a wealth of information; other items he shared in this briefing were:

How the current administration is altering or abolishing our nation and its founding principles. How it loves diversity and hates the principles our county was founded upon.

The freedom of religion and expression—how far are we along the road to losing it?

Tactics vs. strategy and how they desire to implement Sharia. We need to build our arguments on the Constitution—Article 6. Sharia is a form of law that demands to be raised above all other law (including our Constitution).

The push for polygamy…claiming it’s their (Muslims)“religious right.”

UN Resolution 1618—criticizing Sharia law is illegal.  Disarm them using their own words point by point…Sharia vs. the Constitution.

On the voting issue, Phil made it very plain that the candidates have clearly shown where they stand. He encouraged everyone to vote for the person who most closely aligns themselves with one’s religious beliefs or aligns themselves most closely to the Constitution. He said that God designed government and that Christians need to do their part.

The Holy Spirit is more important today than at any other time in our history, Mr. Haney exclaimed!

In closing, Phil answered the question “What can we do?”

His answer:  Having done all to stand, STAND!  Don’t stop listening to the Lord.

Having done ALL to stand.  Go forward until you can go no further…then what?  STAND! Don’t back down. You have to know what you believe in to do that.  Don’t bury what God has given you. We are called to be in the process of government. We are not called to withdraw; we are called to advance. No weapon formed against you can prosper.  Personal integrity is of utmost importance.

This very knowledgeable and wise man closed with a quote by Abraham Lincoln: “The dogmas of the quiet past, are inadequate to the stormy present. The occasion is piled high with difficulty, and we must rise — with the occasion. As our case is new, so we must think anew, and act anew. We must disenthrall ourselves, and then we shall save our country… the last best hope of earth.”

Becoming AND staying informed during these days of hostility and violence cannot be overstated.  Inform yourself daily and do your utmost to inform others as well. Pray for those in leadership, as Paul exhorts us to do, and pray for Philip Haney as he puts himself in the midst of this battle. Pray for this Christian warrior’s health, his wisdom, and his safety as he will continue to See Something, Say Something.
