Reasons why I believe we will have a full house

On Friday, October 21, 2016, we are projecting a full house gathering at ADA headquarters for our high-powered message bearers.  I’m referencing Frank Gaffney and Sandy Rios. 

If you can’t make the event in Fremont, we will have a repeat performance in Grand Rapids on Saturday, October 22, 2016 from 9:00 am – 12:30 pm on the Calvin College campus at the Prince Conference Center.

Already, for our Fremont event with Frank Gaffney and Sandy Rios we have over sixty people registered for our event.  Our auditorium with extra chairs put up will seat approximately 120. If you are late to register, we will put your name on a list with the likelihood that a seat will be available for you to view the presentation on a large screen in our fellowship room area which will seat another 30 or 40.

Last weekend at our showings of God’s Not Dead 2, nearly sixty people signed up as we announced who are speakers would be for this fall conference.

They understood when we told them of the significance of the opportunity to have such “watchmen on the wall” in our West Michigan community!  In addition, many are already very familiar with Sandy Rios’ passion for the Lord and for this country as they listen to Sandy Rios on her daily radio broadcast on 91.7 FM broadcast heard locally between 8 and 9 AM Monday – Friday. 

They also hear Frank Gaffney heard daily during Sandy’s broadcast.  Frank’s program is entitled “Secure Freedom Minute.”  He is a national security expert having served in the Reagan administration at the Pentagon.  He is often seen on Fox TV and elsewhere.

You might ask “What’s the big deal, Bill?”

Here is my short answer: 

Recent news items like (1) terrorist attacks last week-end in New York City, New Jersey and at a Mall in St. Cloud, Minnesota, (2) the turmoil in Charlotte, NC where the Governor had to call for a state of emergency as protestors gathered inciting a riot as a result of another black man being shot, even though it was done by a black police officer, and (3) with the U.S. Commission on Civil Rights warning that religious freedom must take a back seat to other civil rights, stating that the phrase “religious liberty” is code for discrimination, racism, and homophobia.

With the Presidential election just around the corner, our religious freedoms have never been more at risk. We have one candidate telling us that our deep-seated, religious beliefs will have to change. Christians all around this nation are being forced to act against their consciences and people who stand for decency are put into a “basket of deplorables.”

THAT’S why we have pulled these two excellent truth-telling speakers together for such a time as this. We believe that God wants to use them, us, and you to further get the word out and to take action.

I’m sure that many of you get it; you understand what is at stake and the perils that lie ahead of us and the dangerous waters that our nation is heading into. But, some of you have friends and family that are not aware of these dangers, co-workers who don’t see the light, and neighbors who are “good” people but don’t think about the consequences of our government’s actions.

Help them to understand, help them to “get it” by bringing them with you to this most-important event. I don’t believe I’m overstating it when I say that this may very well be our last election if we don’t vote in strong numbers. I’m not overstating it to say that our religious liberties are in the cross-hairs of a socialistic government that is hoping to make even greater changes to this nation that we love. Some changes could occur overnight while others may take time; but these detrimental changes will occur unless we do something.
