Push back boosted – match grant offer extended!

By: American Decency Staff

By now you probably are aware of the following news regarding the assault upon our school children!

The Michigan Board of Education is pushing a proposal that would allow school children of any age to choose their gender, change their name and pronoun, and use the bathroom and locker room of their choice.

Already our voices are being heard, but our voice needs to reach near and far in our state of Michigan.  This email alert is going out almost exclusively to Michigan.

Click here for a petition to print and share with others.

Many are alarmed and it’s time to act!  (Find more information here.)

One person desiring to help us do as much as possible wants to match your gift to strengthen us for the outreach that we have already been unleashing via our phone caller team, email alerts, newsletter outreach, postcards, and more.

This is no time for us to be “beating around the bush” or procrastinating while “Rome burns.”

As you may have seen, we have added an online petition for you to sign and forward the link to others!

In addition, your gift of any amount, will be matched over the next 45 days.  Here are the details!

The match challenge is for a total of $5,000.

1.  The anonymous donor will match up to $5,000.
2.  They have pledged to match any gift, whether the person is a regular donor or has never given to American Decency before.
3.  The funds must be received between March 30 through May 15!

If we won’t protect our girls’ and boys’ bathroom privacies, where will we stand!

Stand today by taking action and by bolstering us and our efforts with a gift of any amount.

One person wrote the following:

"I thought you might like to know that my church passed out the Children at Risk information yesterday to everyone. Additionally, they are asking the congregation to make a public comment, circulate the petition (everyone got a copy), and sign the petition at church next week.

I was pleased that they agreed to do this, and so quickly, since I only asked about it late Thursday night."

The Board of Education will finalize the guidance at its meeting on May 10.
