Movie: WAR ROOM This Friday!

FREEmovie night is at the American Decency Association this Friday at 1 and 7 pm.

WAR ROOMis a powerful reminder that each and every day we are in the midst of a spiritual battle.  We have only One Captain, One Hope, One real Helper; that One is Jesus Christ.

What can transform a spouse who is on the verge of having an affair into an attentive husband and real family man?  God answering the humble and persistent prayer of a wife, who is committed to building her house up.

What can turn a wayward child back to the God who created him or her?  God answering the prayers of parents who will walk obediently and humbly before Him.

What can heal and turn this nation around, bringing us back to holiness, and once again transforming us into a beacon of light?  II Chronicles tells us how:  “If my people who are called by my name humble themselves, and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and heal their land.” (7:14 ESV)

WAR ROOMis a movie that pointedly shows us the need to recognize the spiritual battles for what they are and the need to meet each battle with prayer. WAR ROOM’s Miss Clara says, “You got to plead with God so that He can do what only He can do.  Then you got to get outta the way, and let Him do it.  You need to do your fighting in prayer!”

Come join us at 203 E. Main Street, Fremont, MI, Friday, February 19, 2016 at1:00 & 7:00 pm.  Admission is free. Come, bring a friend, watch the movie, and feel free to stay for some light refreshments and good conversation afterward. You’ll certainly be blessed by this encouragement to pray.

Prayer—imploring God to come down among us to work and reign—that’s the answer.  WAR ROOM is more than just a movie about prayer.  One of the great needs of the church today is to learn how to pray.  WAR ROOM applies the concept of prayer into the everyday lives of its characters.  As one sees how prayer makes a difference in this film, it’s our hope that others will feel burdened to pray and will gather their friends around them in prayer, calling for God to rend the heavens, come down, make His name known to His adversaries, and that nations would tremble at His presence. (Isaiah 64:1)
