There are many who can’t name the vice-president of the United States; but there are precious few who can’t at least identify The Hatfield/McCoy Feud as the most famous feud in American history. They might not be able to give much history surrounding this infamous family fight, but there’s no doubt as to if it were a love or hate relationship.
Pretend someone wanted to rewrite American history, telling you that these two families have always been the best of friends and that any perceived animosity is just a case of mistaken identity and misshapen history. When they say, “You’ve gotten it all wrong; no matter what film footage or original documents and newspaper clippings you have…that’s just not the way it is,” what are you supposed to believe? What happens when the Hatfield and McCoy families tell you personally that it IS a feud, while EVERYONE and EVERYTHING else says it’s not?
Welcome to Islamic/American history revision 101 and the threat to America. (And let’s not forget Interfaith Dialogue)
Shortly after 9-11, and especially over the last eight years, there’s been questions raised as to the love or hate relationship between the Islamic faith and the United States. There are many in this administration who would like us to believe that the history of Islam and the United States is more than peaceful, it’s a downright love connection. It doesn’t help that our president sings the praises of Islam while misquoting our founding documents and attempting to circumnavigate the Law of the land, the Constitution. Neither does it help that certain people, like Manuscript Division Chief of the Library of Congress, James Hutson, write misleading articles with the goal of making our Founding Fathers seem to be tolerant and even embracing of the Islamic faith. Thankfully there are those who come along and fact-check some of these articles and bring the truth to light. In response to Mr. Hutson’s attempt to rewrite America’s history, Dave Miller wrote a two-part critique—entitled “Were the Founding Fathers ‘Tolerant’ of Islam?”—that was published by Apologetics Press and Before It’s News. Regardless of this administration and its party’s attempt to prep America and her people for an Islamic takeover, ISIS (the Hatfields and McCoys) have put in very plain words that they hate us. In Dabiq 15(Note: avoid page 80, there is an extremely graphic photo of a beheading), their main focus is “BREAK THE CROSS,” attempting to replace the cross with the black ISIS flag. They also give a final call to the Western world (to read more on this see our previous article). Another article in this online ISIS magazine that should be noted is a piece entitled, “Why We Hate You & Why We Fight You.”
This article opens with:
Shortly following the blessed attack on a sodomite, Crusader nightclub by the mujahid(term for one engaged in jihad) Omar Mateen, American politicians were quick to jump into the spotlight and denounce the shooting, declaring it a hate crime, an act of terrorism, and an act of senseless violence. A hate crime? Yes. … An act of terrorism? Most definitely. Muslims have been commanded to terrorize the disbelieving enemies of Allah. But an act of senseless violence? One would think that the average Westerner, by now, would have abandoned the tired claim that the actions of the mujahidin – who have repeatedly stated their goals, intentions, and motivations – don’t make sense.…The only thing senseless would be for there to be no violent, fierce retaliation in the first place!
Because of our “politically correct” speech, because of those who say, “Islam is a peaceful religion,” and because (as the Jihadists themselves write) “a large segment of the ignorant masses continues believing the false narrative”, “it becomes important for us to clarify to the West in unequivocal terms – yet again – why we hate you and why we fight you.”
In their own words (minus their commentary) here is why they hate us and must fight us:
1. “We hate you, first and foremost, because you are disbelievers; you reject the oneness of Allah”
2. “We hate you because your secular, liberal societies permit the very things that Allah has prohibited while banning many of the things He has permitted, a matter that doesn’t concern you because you Christian disbelief and paganism separate between religion and state, thereby granting supreme authority to your whims and desires via the legislators you vote into power.”
3. “In the case of the atheist fringe, we hate you and wage war against you because you disbelieve in the existence of your Lord and Creator.”
4. “We hate you for your crimes against Islam and wage war against you to punish you for your transgressions against our religion.”
5. “We hate you for your crimes against the Muslims; your drones and fighter jets bomb, kill, and maim our people around the world, and your puppets in the usurped lands of the Muslims oppress, torture, and wage war against anyone who calls to the truth.”
6. “We hate you for invading our lands and fight you to repel you and drive you out. As long as there is an inch of territory left for us to reclaim, jihad will continue to be a personal obligation on every single Muslim.”
In sending America its last call to “conversion” and explaining their hatred toward us, they write:
The gist of the matter is that there is indeed a rhyme to our terrorism, warfare, ruthlessness, and brutality. As much as some liberal journalist would like you to believe that we do what we do because we’re simply monsters with no logic behind our course of action, the fact is that we continue to wage – and escalate – a calculated war that the West thought it had ended several years ago. We continue dragging you further and further into a swamp you thought you’d already escaped only to realize that you’re stuck even deeper within its murky waters… And we do so while offering you a way out on our terms. So you can continue to believe that those “despicable terrorists” hate you because of your lattes and your Timberlands, and continue spending ridiculous amounts of money to try to prevail in an unwinnable war, or you can accept reality and recognize that we will never stop hating you until you embrace Islam, and will never stop fighting you until you’re ready to leave the swamp of warfare and terrorism through the exits we provide, the very exits put forth by our Lord for the People of the Scripture: Islam, jizyah, or – as a last means of fleeting respite – a temporary truce.
Another article in this magazine illustrates more reasons for their hatred of us, a few of these being: the gay pride lights illuminating our White House, “an effeminate sodomite leads the Crusaders,” and “pagans rallying in support of marijuana.” They also write: “The role of man and woman was mixed up, as was the responsibility father and mother had towards daughter and son. Woman need not be a mother, a wife, or a maiden, but rather, she should work like man, rule like man, and have intercourse like an animal, without being conscious of her Lord watching both her and her heinous partner in crime.”
Regardless of how our government—this administration particularly—would like to rewrite history, no matter how much interfaith dialogue would like to make us all one big happy melting pot of religion, regardless of how comfortable it is to put one’s head in the sand, the feud is real and it’s not going anywhere. The enemy has spoken, warned, and has even laid out their justification for the fight. Is anyone listening?
Their goal has been the same since the beginning; rule the world. Make a world-wide Caliphate for Allah, implementing Shariah law wherever a sunbeam hits the ground and a person draws breath. The United States of America already has a presiding national law called the Constitution; Shariah and the Constitution are not compatible. If a person wants to live under Shariah law, let them move to such a country. Any who desire to live under Constitutional law and freedom (Muslim included), let them live here and assimilate to a culture that loves freedom and liberty.
ISIS must not be allowed to call the shots; no longer can we allow radical Islamic supremacist front groups to dictate how we investigate, how we act, or how we react. The enemy voices its surprise by our reaction and lack of action; so should we. It should anger us as it puts our children and families at risk, threatens our freedom of religion and speech, and as it binds the hands of our brave military men and women from acting and defending as their consciences would implore them to do.
It’s important that our president and other national leaders name the enemy and aggressively protect their citizens. It’s time for Uncle Sam to roll up his sleeves with a steely look in his eye, flex his muscle, and go after the enemy with utter abandon, making ISIS choose the last “exit” they listed—“a last means of fleeting respite—a temporary truce.”
Since most of Congress and this administration have left us dangling in the wind, we are left with little recourse other than that to which we should first have turned to many years ago. Pray! Pray for brokenness of heart and personal repentance. Pray for our leaders. Pray for our enemies. God has been working mightily in some of these Muslim countries.
Prayer must be accompanied with action. Prepare your heart for brokenness. Speak, in love, with those you come across about Jesus. Don’t just pay lip service; live out a life of holiness and Christian love.
