I’m calling out to you! Praying for God’s blessing!

By: American Decency Staff

Many of you have appreciated the movies we have shown here like Courageous, Fireproof, October Baby, Agenda, War Room, God’s Not Dead, etc…

You have loved the encouragement that those movies have brought to you and your loved ones and/or friends.  We have too.

Encouragement is so important – especially at such times as this.  We want to be an encouragement to you.

Encouragement comes in the form of movies and also in the form of speakers and music.   I know you agree with me on this!   But often people are more apt to come to a movie than to hear a speaker or presenter.

It is in this vein that I write.  Here we are in the middle of perhaps the most concerning time of spiritual warfare in our lifetimes: the assault upon gender, marriage, etc.

What better time for like-minded believers to gather together as Christians to hear some timely messages which bring hope and strength and challenge and encouragement and to be ministered to at a location so many of us have found to be a place of peace, rest and fellowship! I speak of the Shack – half bed and breakfast and half conference center – a gorgeous and hospitable retreat center between Fremont and White Cloud.

I might add that in addition to having men of God bringing strong messages, we will be blessed with music anointed by God!  I think you know that I am not a person that likes to overstate.

I’m inviting you to American Decency’s Spring Conference for June 3-4 (with a worship service on the Sunday for those who can make it on the 5th).

I am guessing you are familiar with the boycott of Target by now.  We have one of the original drafters/promoters of the boycott petition that has garnered over 1,200,000 signees:  Buddy Smith – Vice President of American Family Association!   Buddy is also a gifted Southern Gospel singer!  Buddy will be accompanied by Robert Azkoul, gifted pianist, musician, choir director, a spirited song leader known by many in the greater Grand Rapids area.

Ken Smith – Head of the Biblical Counseling Center in Jenison.  Ken is also a gifted speaker as he uses his background as a former pastor and his years of counseling to apply scripture to the issues and spiritual warfare matters of our day.

Randall Murphree – longtime editor of the AFA Journal, one of AFA’s original staff members standing strong on the word of God in his accomplished work and life.

Ron Workman –A native of Fremont Ron is highly regarded throughout Michigan and indeed the country for his work in developing and overseeing an international interim pastor’s ministry, Interim Ministries Incorporated, having ministered in Illinois, Florida, and Michigan.  Ron is outstanding preacher of the Word of God.

In closing, my friends, there is absolutely no cost to attend.  If you live locally and wish to attend the conference without spending the night, we encourage you to join us!

You are welcome to come for all or part of the conference.  We just ask that you call at us 231-924-4050 and let us know that you will be attending.  If you would like to purchase meals from the Shack, also let us know.
