Last week was Thanksgiving, a day set aside to specifically give thanks to God for His bountiful generosity. I can’t help but recognize how unworthy we are of all His benefits, making me all the more grateful for the various means He uses to bless. This year God impressed upon me the importance of being thankful not only for the turkey but also for the farmer who raised the turkey, the one who grew the turkey feed, and those who transported and sold that delicious bird. In short, God used many people—“great” and “small”—to bring bounty to my table. And God used me to further their gain, as I purchased that bounty with the money He provided.
The same can be said for any ministry, business, or family; we are dependent upon one another, “great” or “small”. Some depend upon us for news, for help in refocusing on God, for the warnings we give, and the opportunities for activism we provide. We depend upon God’s using you for prayers, words of encouragement, and gifts both great and small.
We here at the American Decency Association have so much to be thankful for. To name but a few of our blessings, we are thankful for God’s call on our lives—both in salvation and to the work He has called us to do, for His leading and wisdom as we fulfill our God-ordained tasks, and for those He has put in our paths. We are so grateful to our Heavenly Father for each and every one of you—even for those who disagree with us—and we pray for all of you.
We are humbled and so very grateful for each person who shows their gratitude to God for us. Some give of their time and talents, others give by praying for us faithfully, and still others show their appreciation by supporting this ministry financially. Again, it humbles us to recognize not only how God uses us, but how He uses each of you as well.
By the calendar, we’ve stuffed ourselves with Thanksgiving, squished ourselves during Black Friday shopping, surfed through Cyber-Monday, so today—on Giving Tuesday—would you consider showing your appreciation for the ministry of the American Decency Association, by supporting us financially? Giving Tuesday is a day set aside during this holiday season to encourage support for causes and ministries important to us.
I hope that you consider American Decency Association one of the ministries important to you. We often hear from supporters who thank us for standing in the gap. As we are an encouragement to them, their words and support are an encouragement to us.
“Keep fighting the good fight! We appreciate all you do to keep us informed.”~ L.R.
“Thank you for all your good work to protect families and promote the Gospel!”~ C.M.
“Thank you for shining the light of Christ’s love into the darkness.”~ W.B.
“Just want to thank you again for all that you do. Wish we could do more but we pray for all of you and the work you are doing. The world is changing rapidly in the wrong direction and even though sometimes I feel like we are losing the battle I know that God is in control and we are called to remain faithful. May God bless you all.”~ R.&S. M.
We strive to remain faithful to God’s call in “fighting the good fight”. Will you join with us? Do you regularly read our email alerts? If so, you’re already part of our ministry. Please prayerfully consider taking an active part now, by standing with us financially too.
This ministry could not exist without your help. We thank the Lord for you and we THANK YOU for standing with us, as God leads.
