FREE Financial Seminar-Dan Celia-Coming to West Michigan

By: American Decency Staff

Free EVENT—No reservation required

The Bible has much to say about money: where it comes from, how to accumulate and use it, as well as its dangers.  Financial expert, Dan Celia, uses sound, Biblical principles when speaking about money management.  One such example would be his advice on growing one’s wealth: “It takes a lot of crumbs to make a loaf.  If you’re not satisfied with the crumbs, you’re never going to have a loaf.” That’s reminiscent of Proverbs 13:11; “Wealth gained hastily will dwindle, but whoever gathers little by little will increase it.” (ESV) The Bible also warns against the converse of this too, get rich quick schemes.

The Bible frequently states that blessing comes by fearing the Lord, obeying His commands, and the dangers of rebelling against what God says.  Perhaps it’s best summed up by Proverbs 22:4-5; “The reward for humility and fear of the Lordis riches and honor and life. Thorns and snares are in the way of the crooked; whoever guards his soul will keep far from them.” (ESV)

For these reasons, the American Decency Association, partnering with The Timothy Plan, in an effort to help you gain financial understanding and wisdom, is bringing Dan Celia, a well-respected financial expert to West Michigan.  He always draws a large crowd and packs his seminars with great information. To learn more about Dan, go to his website at www.financialissues.org.

No, Dan won’t be conducting a Bible study; but he will be answering questions from a Bible-based worldview. He boldly and directly tackles all issues from a Christian and conservative stand. Since finances touch on all areas of life, he’ll be addressing questions like:

·         What are the Biblical principles of sound stewardship?

·         How do we as Christians manage in this economy?

·         Do politics matter in your stewardship?

·         Are Christians responsible to vote?

·         How do we choose our leaders?

AND…

·         At the end, there will also be an opportunity to ask your own questions.

Money is an important tool to be used while on this earth; however, when it’s all said and done, like they say, “You can’t take it with you.”  There’s nothing more important than one’s soul—your soul—so one should make sure that they are ready to stand before Jesus one day, as ALL will.  Jesus asked, “What will it profit a man to gain the whole world, yet lose his soul?”

Are you ready?  Please watch this clip where Dan does an interview about Jesus being the only way to heaven. (Click here)  This clip is good for believers too.

The one who trusts in his riches will fall, but the righteous will flourish like a green leaf. The one who troubles his family will inherit nothing, and the fool will be a servant to the wise person. The fruit of the righteous is like a tree producing life, and the one who wins souls is wise.” (Proverbs 11:28-30 NET)
