Encourage These People

Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, Teacher Appreciation Day, Veteran’s Day, Memorial Day, Pastor Appreciation, the list goes on and on. They even have a national left-handers day now.  With recognition for everyone under the sun, the American Decency Association would like to encourage you to recognize and show appreciation to a list of men and women who are very important and haven’t received the recognition that they deserve—and many of them receiving undeserved, negative recognition—let’s say a big thank you to TRUTH-TELLERS!

Our government and congress have taken a strong stand against and wrongly vilified several truth tellers of our day.  They have wrongly maligned them, scrubbed them out, and done what they could to silence them. Let’s stand up and speak out on behalf of truth tellers like Philip Haney, Stephen Coughlin, Michele Bachmann, and others. Let’s write or call them, letting them know how much we appreciate all that they’ve done to protect us. Let them know that their stand for the truth and their continual speaking out, even after such attacks and vilification, has not gone unnoticed by many of us in this ungrateful republic.

If the above names are foreign to you, or the names of Patrick Poole, Louie Gohmert, Frank Gaffney, Brigitte Gabriel, and Steve King, then please click on their names to learn a little about them. These are people who have written books, taken a stand for truth, or currently speak out on behalf of the safety of the American public.

Another man who has taken a stand time after time, trying to protect the American public from the overreach of the government and against Islamic supremacist ideology and its jihadist adherents is Ted Cruz. Taking hits often, he still stands for the American people and our Constitution—the ever-protective Law of our land. Let him know that he’s appreciated and prayed for.

This is by no means an exhaustive list. Encourage and pray for all truth-tellers you know.

Pray for these people as they are under governmental and spiritual attacks. Tell others about their bravery and truthfulness. Encourage your church to pray for our government and pray for our leaders and these truth-tellers by name.
