Clinton Corruption

“The system is rigged” will be cemented in the American lexicon after this presidential election.  That phrase has been a fixture of Donald Trump’s stump speech and has resonated with many as they recognize the truth in it. 

The scope of the “rigged” system is immense – the collusion of the media with the democrat agenda, the blatant bias of the courts, and massive voter fraudorganized by front groups for the Democratic National Committee (DNC).

Yet while it may not be as catchy, I think a more apt description is “the system is corrupt.”  And the most blatant example of corruption in this presidential election is none other than the Democrat presidential candidate herself.

For those who are old enough to remember the scandal-ridden Bill Clinton political career and presidency, ‘corruption’ seems to be synonymous with the Clintons.  The pair has always operated as if they were above the law – and that has pretty much proven to be true. 

In 2000 as President Bill Clinton’s term of office was ending and Hillary Clinton was running for U.S. Senator from New York, Bill commuted the sentences of four men from the Hasidic community of New Square, New York who had been convicted of defrauding millions of dollars from the government.  The clemency for these convicted felons came just weeks after Hillary’s senate election – after Hillary visited New Square during her campaign and after she received 1,400 votes from that Hasidic community.  Only 12 people in the community voted for the Republican candidate.  As Townhall reports:

“The link between the commuted sentences and votes for Hillary Clinton was so apparent that a federal investigation was opened looking into the case. But in 2002, none other than James Comey, who was then U.S. attorney for the Southern District of New York, found no wrongdoing. He also cleared Clinton in the investigation of his pardon of Marc Rich, a fugitive commodities trader whose ex-wife was a major donor to Hillary Clinton’s campaign, the DNC, and the Clinton library foundation.”

This is just one of countless examples when the law has not applied to the Clintons.

Hillary’s own turn in the national spotlight in recent years has shown perhaps an even greater propensity for corruption.  In the 1990s there was Whitewater, Travel-gate, and File-gate.  Now we have Benghazi, classified documents on private servers, the deleting of 33,000 emails after a subpoena was issued for them, the destruction of government records (including computers and cell phones), and trading state department favors for cash for the Clinton Foundation.

However, as former U.S. attorney Andrew McCarthy writes:  … these offenses may pale in comparison with Hillary Clinton’s most audacious violations of law: Crimes that should still be under investigation; crimes that will, in fitting Watergate parlance, be a cancer on the presidency if she manages to win on November 8.

Mrs. Clinton appears to have converted the office of secretary of state into a racketeering enterprise. This would be a violation of the RICO law — the Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act of 1971 (codified in the U.S. penal code at sections 1961 et seq.).

Last week we wrote of the Clinton Foundation using donations designated for disaster relief for Haiti to instead line their own pockets and those of their supporters.  This type of pay-to-play corruption has typified the Clintons for decades.  It should come as no surprise that the couple who “sold” the Lincoln bedroom in the White House in exchange for campaign donations is still in the business of influence peddling.  Only now what’s being sold by Hillary isn’t a night in the White House, but State Department favors to foreign nations.  It’s no coincidence that when Hillary was appointed Secretary of State, massive donations from foreign governments who had business with the State Department began to roll in to the Clinton Foundation. 

And of these mutual back-scratching schemes, one of the most concerning examples of corruption which puts our very own national security at risk, is one of the least reported – even by conservative news sources.

When serving as Secretary of State, Hillary Clinton orchestrated the transfer of one-fifth of the United States’ uranium mining to Russia.  As you probably know, uranium is the key element needed for nuclear power – and nuclear weapons. 

In 2005 Bill Clinton helped convince the ruling despot of Kazakhstan (an infamous torturer and human-rights violator), to grant coveted uranium-mining rights to Clinton’s Canadian billionare friend Frank Giustra through his company, Ur-Asia Energy.  Afterwards, Giustra gave a whopping $31.3 million to the Clinton Foundation with the promise of $100 million more. Ur-Asia then merged with Uranium One, a South African company, and began to purchase uranium assets in the United States.

As McCarthy reports:  “Except it became a bigger problem when the Russian company sought to acquire a controlling interest in Uranium One. That would mean a takeover not only of the Kazakh mines but of the U.S. uranium assets as well. Such a foreign grab requires approval by the Committee on Foreign Investment in the United States, a powerful government tribunal that the secretary of state sits on and heavily influences. Though she had historically postured as a hawk against foreign acquisitions of American assets with critical national-security implications, Secretary Clinton approved the Russian takeover of Uranium One. During and right after the big-bucks Russian acquisition, Telfer contributed $1.35 million to the Clinton Foundation. Other people with ties to Uranium One appear to have ponied up as much as $5.6 million in donations.”

Thanks to Hillary Clinton, who could very well be our next president, Vladimir Putin now has the rights to twenty percent of United States uranium!

For all her claims of Russian association with the Trump campaign, it is Hillary Clinton that has empowered the thug, Vladimir Putin, at the expense of our national interests and security.  It is abundantly clear that when it comes to advancing in power or lining her pockets, there are few lines Hillary Clinton will not cross.

I’ve only scratched the surface in the examples of corruption surrounding Hillary Clinton.  In spite of the “rigged” media, the body of evidence is so immense that few voters can claim ignorance. 

And yet millions of Americans see her as the best choice for president. 

That fact demonstrates that corruption doesn’t just typify the Clintons, but also typifies the human heart. 

It bodes the question: “Which came first?  Corrupt leaders or a corrupt people?

As John Calvin stated 500 years ago, “When God wants to judge a nation, He gives them wicked rulers.”
