A personal note:

A leading former Department of Homeland Security official told me personally of the great concern that as threats both from without and within increase, freedom hangs in the balance. And, depending on the results of the November election, the assault on freedom is anticipated to be amped up many fold.  Radical Islam is waging war upon western civilization.  And within our nation, leftist elites seek to eradicate Christian and conservative values.  Our freedoms of speech and religion are under attack.  If we lose those, all other freedoms will fall. 

This is not a time to take this lightly. Case in point, I began our September newsletter in the following way:

“Resolution 16/18.  Istanbul Process.

I would doubt that very few reading this have ever heard of Resolution 16/18 and/or the Istanbul Process.  Why is it important?

It is crucial that we have awareness of Resolution 16/18 and the Istanbul Process as it is an important part of the plot to ultimately destroy Constitutional America.”

As we move to close out another year filled with societal uncertainties, we strive to speak as directly as we possibly can into questions that are on the hearts and minds of many. 

And so, we have scheduled two October engagements to address specifically the very real threats we face.  Two highly regarded national figures known for their longstanding faithfulness to bold truth-telling and integrity, Frank Gaffney and Sandy Rios, will be speaking at two West Michigan locations.  (see below)

We have called these events:  “The War is Now and the War is Real”.

On Friday, October 21 (7:00 – 9:30 PM), at ADA headquarters (203 E. Main Street, Fremont, MI), we will be hosting the first of these events.   

Due to limited seating Friday night at ADA headquarters (Fremont), reservations are required to insure a seat.  Register by email (kimberly@americandecency.org) or by calling 231-924-4050. 

Then on Saturday morning, October 22 (9:00 am – 12:30 pm) we “take the show on the road” to Grand Rapids as Sandy Rios and Frank Gaffney will again speak on the campus of Calvin College at the Prince Conference Center, Grand Rapids, MI (9:00 AM – 12:30 PM), which will include a time of Q & A.

Frank Gaffney is a noteworthy national speaker/leader, radio broadcaster and is considered by many (including me) as a major hub in the battle for the FREE WORLD.  He is the president and founder of the Center for Security Policy in Washington, DC. (www.centerforsecurity.org)  Mr. Gaffney previously served as the Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense for Nuclear Forces and Arms Control Policy from 1983 -1987.

Sandy Rios is the voice and host for the nationally syndicated daily broadcast “Sandy Rios in the Morning” heard on nearly 200 radio stations via American Family Radio.  Sandy is so highly regarded by conservative and Christian leaders in Washington, DC through her work as one time head of Concerned Women for America and her obvious love and concern for all people.  She communicates love, caring, and at the same-time holds fast to Biblical truth.  [She can be heard daily in the Muskegon/Grand Rapids area from 8:00 – 9:00 AM at 91.7 FM] and beyond via streaming at www.afr.net
