You’ve been to our events?

By: American Decency Staff

You’ve been to our events (either in Grand Rapids, Fremont, Holland, Muskegon, Lansing or elsewhere).

It might have been a movie like “God’s Not Dead” or “Do You Believe” or “Agenda 2”.

It might have been at one our events featuring Kamal Saleem, Frank Gaffney, Mat Staver, Gary Bauer, Janet Porter, Patrick Poole, Dave Agema, Pastor Anthony Moore, Steve Coughlin or another speaker that we have brought in.

My point is this.  I trust that you have been positively impacted, blessed, encouraged, or perhaps exhorted through our ministry, American Decency Association.

That being said – Let me speak with clarity and with conviction.   By God’s grace, we have desired to be faithful to His calling by faithfully declaring and standing for Truth in His Holy Name.

As we move toward the close of a busy, impactful year of ministry, we look forward to continuing to stir, educate, and exhort the hearts and minds of brothers and sisters in Christ like you.

Your help is especially needed at such a time as this.  We have a solid core of faithful supporters.  Would you prayerfully consider becoming one of that faithful core?

Lastly, if you are a person that has not given to this ministry, your gift in the immediate days ahead are needed to help us make a match challenge of $10,000.

Board member Steve Huston offers these thoughts:

“Joshua was fighting a battle in the valley below; he’d make headway defeating Amalek, then, for no apparent reason, started to lose; soon he was driving them back again. Up on the hillside sat a figure with hands outstretched toward the heavens; as his arms grew tired, those hands would falter and come down. Wait! Here come two friends to help Moses hold up his arms; here are those who will help prop him up and allow Joshua to win the war.

I’m sure that most of us are familiar with this Bible history.  In Exodus chapter 17 we read that as long as Moses kept his arms up, Joshua would win; when his arms would come down, Joshua would lose.  Praise God, Moses had friends that would come alongside him to help support him, that the battle might be won.

As the battle continues to rage around us, there are times of weariness; as our nation takes its eyes off from the Lord and the people chase after vain things, there is cost in fighting the battles. We are only able to continue this fight in the strength of the Lord. It was God who gave the victory to Joshua and it will only be God who brings the victory in America. We are but servants of the Most High God.

Would you come alongside us again, being an Aaron or a Hur that will help to hold our arms up to the heavens, from which comes our help?  Can you be that Hur who financially gives from what God has already given you? “

We also need you to let others know about the Lord’s work being done here to gather new supporters in prayer and giving. God has been gracious to this ministry in so many ways; most recently by blessing us with a match gift challenge of $10,000.

Every gift that is received by new donors, or those who haven’t given since 2013 (or before), will be matched dollar for dollar up to the $10,000.  Please know, we only have until December 31st to meet this challenge.

At this point, we have raised $2,162 toward the challenge.  Will you please help us?

In closing, help strengthen us to continue the work that God has called us to  – encouraging, strengthening, stirring, and standing as God leads us day by day.
