Why I Will Be Watching Old Fashioned and Skipping 50 Shades of Grey

 I am sure every where you turn these days you are seeing all the promotion for Fifty Shades! Its all over the tv,  you are probably seeing it all through your facebook feed, you over hear ladies talking about it. I mean you can’t help but notice how hard they are working to grab not only our attention but the attention of our sons & daughters, our marriages, how we look at relationships.

Do not fall for it sweet readers!

We can really make our voices heard on Valentine’s Day by NOT going to see Fifty Shades but instead GOING and see Old Fashioned!

In our home something we do is, filter what we read, watch, listen & play through God’s word. The scripture we use for this is Philippians 4:8-9 “Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is commendable, if there is any excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise, think about these things. What you have learned and received and heard and seen in me—practice these things, and the God of peace will be with you.”

I was blessed to receive a copy of Old Fashioned to watch. I am so very excited to share with you why I will be attending Old Fashioned and skipping Fifty Shades.
