Join Us For “Summer Snow”

As we make you aware and warn of the bombardment of trashy “entertainment” flooding our culture, it’s encouraging to see more and more Christian filmmakers producing faith-based and family-friendly entertainment alternatives. 

We at ADA look for opportunities to show such movies that affirm the values we cherish.  One such film is the heart-warming movie Summer Snow, produced by American Family Studios, which we will be showing this Friday, February 6 at 1:00 PM and 7:00 PM at American Decency, 203 E. Main St. in Fremont.

As you steer your family through the cultural minefield laid by Hollywood, Summer Snow offers an opportunity to enjoy a wholesome movie with family and friends.

Summer Snow is a story that moves the viewer through the varied emotions that accompany the loss of a loved one, the humor of a father who is trying to get things right, the fear and difficulties of an unplanned pregnancy, and the reminders to love and hold on to your faith from a mother who is no longer around.

The movie centers on Hallie Benson who is a small girl with big ideas to help those who are in need.  As is often the case with small children and big ideas, her pursuits to help others often end with a mess and with her being misunderstood.  Hallie’s older brother and sister each have their own struggles which will encourage you to give thoughtful consideration to important issues as well.

Come enjoy “Summer Snow” with us; bring your family, friends, and neighbors.  Laugh a lot, cry a little, and have a very delightful family-friendly evening!
